If you have a time machine and you can go back to the past to fix something, which stage will you go to? I think I will go back to the time when I was in the kindergarten. I would tell my parents not to keep me there. And I would start to study hard when I was a child

if i can go back to the past ,i hope i will never do something wrong and make myself as perfect as i can .if i can go back to the past ,i hope i could went to a better university rather than the one i was before . when we talk about the topic ,we may have so many srange and naive thoughts and ideas :) ,but there is no such a thing which is called time-machine ,we can never go back to the past . we live in a new and current life time,we need to look forward and do things well ,we need to be full of confidence and hope ,as long as we can do things independently and hopefully ,we will never make ourselves disapponted .

The past is past, but sometimes I will wonder whether I can mend my mistake if I could go back to the past.

I would go back to 1999.. and reversed a decision that I made based on believing a lie... a life wouldn't have shattered that day and a precious heart would have been saved from the hurt of being broken. I've never regretted anything in my life more... than that one day. I can't tell ya how many times I visit that day in my mind and helplessly watch it play out.

Meditation, journaling, hypnosis, talking with others with a similar situation. It also may not have been just one moment, it could have been many over time. It could have been the lack of something that you never realized was missing. I would go with the journaling first, as meditation has always made me feel scared once I get deep into it. Plus, writing things down allows you to have record of it.

Wow, I like these sort of questions, my mind runs away with me and I can think of so many! But I think I would definitely go back to 1998 and reverse a bitter decision I made which had dire consequences for me and it was a simple fact of saying NO instead of yes! You can't believe that a simple NO would have made so much difference in my life! It would have saved so much heartache, misery and regrets, but we can only look forward can't we, we can waste precious time wishing if only and having deep regrets, the decision was made at the time and cannot be changed, accept it and move on but I do get days when I wish I could change the past!

Perhaps I can guess what it is. Actually in 1998 my heart was broken.

Touche! I would definately go back and study my butt off and make school fun by actually doing what it is there for... learning. Today as an older person I love learning and am actually thinking of going back to college (20 years later!) but I really do love it and I am not going to let age stand in my way (since I don't have a time machine. Great discussion Thanks Zelo

There is a sentence like this. If he loves you, let him go. If he comes back, he is yours.

I am not sure I would change anything in the past, because it would then change what is happening now. Each thing in the past has led us where we are now.

It is just as well that I can't go back to change things. I fear I would go back and reign down on those who have wronged me so powerfully I would come back to the present and I would be in jail.

I'd walk away from the chance. I have learned so much and become the person I am today for all my experiences good and bad. I would not change a thing because it would have a domino effect and change a whole lot of other stuff. If I had a time machine, I'd just sell it on e-bay for big money.

If you don't want to change anything by the time machine, but at least you can see what had happened in the past and found out many historical myths

If I could go back in time, I'd try to overcome my shyness, take the scholarship I was offered and go to college! I know I've missed out lots because of that.

I would go back three hours ago before I lost my research paper which is due tomorrow . Notreally ha, I would go back to freshman year of college and start making better decisions. That would affect a lot of other things so I wouldn't have to change them too. What was so bad about kindergarten?

If I can go back, I will fix something what I did wrong. don't be a jerk, because the girl I loved was also love me, so don't do something stupid, and lose her, okay? ask my friend don't eat so much garbage food, because there's a disease called leukaemia, and it will take his life. In fact, there's many another things I wanna fix.

I will have to go to the time I have to make the decision if I need to marry or not.I messed up on that part and I want to change it because I know I had the right to make my own choice. It's just a pity I can't do it.

I've always said I'd like to go back and visit the 50's, heck maybe even stay there...it was a much simpler time. In my own life line, I'd probably go back and finish school, I really don't need the diploma at this point in my life but I would have liked to have finished it just so it was done with. I think that I would go back to 12 years old and like you I would put more effort into my studies, then I would also pursue what I wanted to as a career (my folks talked me out of it due to the long duration of the course) and I would be better equiped to support myself today.

If i could go back to the past i will go to the stage where i used to trouble some people and tell them sorry.I would improve my skills and talents at a young age so i would be in a better position than i am now.I would also enjoy the tasty foods my grandma used to make when i went to my native place.

If I could go back in the past I would prob make sure I had a few guranteed stock picks. While that wouldnt have helped change any decisions I made in the past the money sure would help with future decisions lol.

I appreciate my past, whether the sad part or the happy part. Whatever I have gone through is unique. Past is precious. I don't think I would like to go back. It may be a pity to have something undone. But every regretful details leads to me of the present.
