If You Love A Song Do You Play It Over and Over Again?

I've always been a Madonna fan, I love all her music, she is one of the best female vocalists ever! Ok, so I am biased, but she is just wonderful, absolutely wonderful! I swear she wrote the lyrics to her 'Frozen' track as a dedication to Wolfie, listen to the lyrics they are so MEEEEEEE! Lately I have been addicted to her 'Give It To Me' track and I have to admit that I play it over and over again, it's on Itunes, I copied it onto my Ipod and when I hear it play I just click the button to play it again and again! I just love the track, it's one of her best, I know that eventually I will come to tire of it, but at the moment I just can't get enough. Do you have a favourite song that you play continuously and never get fed up with it? Does your partner, friends, or even neighbours if you have it on loud complain about it or get sick of you playing the same song over and over again! Go on put Madonna's Give It To Me on (you must have it!) and come and dance with Wolfie

Hi Wolfie, I have a cd in the car which has some of my favourite songs on for when I'm driving along and I have one of them which comes on after about every 3 songs as I never tire of hearing it; Eric Clapton's 'You Look wonderful tonight'. Think it's the greatest hits of Madonna which is in the car and I love 'Papa Don't Preach' but am out of date with anything more modern than that from Madonna. Sorry, can't dance with you whilst driving!

In the car I have Supertramp playing, their double album, I never get fed up with that either. Just as well I am not in the car with you I'd be singing away to Papa Don't Preach and believe me you do NOT want to hear Wolfie singing LOL!

Well I have to play whatever I am playing loud enough to actually drown myself out, I can't sing a note, totally tone deaf. Probably why my favourite musician ever is Leonard Cohen.

I'm dancing, I'm dancing! Madonna's great. I tend to play new albums until I get so sick of them I can't stand to hear them anymore - which is a shame! At the moment I'm listening to The Audreys - 'You and Steve McQueen' - from their 'Between Last Night and Us' album. Cool.

Woohooo great dancer my friend! Yes sometimes it's best not to play them too often otherwise they become turn offs rather than turn ons! (music that is!)

Hi there! Yeah, same as you I just play a song I like over and over again. I have them on my little playlist on my phone. Since my memory card doesn't have that much memory, I just put my top 20 songs on it. And when I am bored and have nothing else to do, I just play the songs over and over again. And I even dance to it when nobody else is around. Music is really a stress reliever for me.

Music is a wonderful stress reliever, and I tend to play music depending on my moods, I have different groups for the type of mood I am in! I usually sing when no one else is around, I would never subject my awful howling onto anyone!

Hi wolfie - obviously you are crazy over Madonna lol - however unfortunately I am not a very big fan of her music. Of course I think everyone plays a song over and over again when they like it. Personally I do it so that I can learn the words of the song at the end of the day - it feels like a small accomplishment for me. :) Thanks for sharing your love of Madonna and happy myLotting!

Hi ya wolfie34 You know for my birthday once my brothers bought me Vienna by Ultravox on a single and I played it and played it because I loved it so much. I played it so much that the paper around the hole in the middle had become brown and very very warm!! These days I am enjoying listening to La Roux and Bulletproof, love that one. I hear it so much on the radio that I don't need to download it and play it over and over. Take care my friend x

I can't think of one particular song...but I love classical music, the three tenors, Josh Grobain, anyone who can sing in that level of music. I could listen to them all day, and I can get very emotional listening to them....and I certainly will play their CD's over and over, and over, until I finally get sick of them.

I love that track by Kathryn Jenkins, Time To Say Goodbye, and I think a tenor has sung this too, it was the song that my ex played the day I said goodbye! Mind you the song has good memories as I was glad to walk out LOL!

Wolfie...Can't believe you mentioned that song!! As I was responding to you yesterday, I was thinking of that song, but couldn't remember that title. I could listen to that over and over and over. Just yesterday, I was in an Italian Restaurant, and one of the songs that was played was just that one...I stopped everything, even eating, and just listened. When I hear songs like this, those are the times I wish I was singer, just to be able to belt out one of these songs. And the tenor that sings this is Bocelli...the blind tenor.

I'm not a Madonna fan but I would say her songs are great. I play the songs I love very often. I play it over and over again, memorize the lyrics and things like that.

If I have a song that I can play over and over again, it should be Scarborough Fair/Canticle by Simon & Garfunkel. But if it is Madonna, how can anyone get tired of Like A Virgin? Or Material Girl? I am still attached to her earlier hits. I admit that 4 Minutes get me excited. But her classic is .. well.. classic. : )

I haven't heard that track by Simon & Garfunkle, when I think of them I always think of Bright eyes for some reason, guess that track has always stuck in my mind. Yes Madonna's earlier stuff will always be classic and will be played for many years to come!

I play my favorite tunes over and over again because I love listening to them so very much. I remember going to a Madonna concert at the London Docklands in the late eighties. My favorite Madonna tunes are Holiday and Lucky Star. My mum and sister got sick of me playing the same tunes numerous times. Nowadays I make sure only my children are around when I put music on. Oh, it is track 21 and I will play it at least three times I thought earlier.

Wow! That must have been a wonderful experience seeing Madonna in concert! I don't like concerts because of the noise and the crowds. I prefer Madonna's later music than her early stuff but it's all great music.

I am also a Madonna fan, but am not real familiar with her recent things. She is a talented woman and even more important, she is a smart woman and has made a great life for herself in the business. I have a song that I love to play over and over, though, and that is Amazed by Lone Star. It was a "song" of a guy and I, but I like the song, regardless. I'm usually alone when I am playing it over and over, so no complaints. Don't think you would want ME dancing with you, but hope you have fun with it!! LOL

Yes...sometimes a song will just get stuck in my head. I do play it over and over until I get sick of it and it goes away. I love music and don't really have a favorite...it is ever-changing depending on my mood and the day. Hi wolfie!

I play the music I love again and again until it gets boring (laughs). I just keep it in repeat mode and listen to it. I mostly listen to my favorite songs in my ipod so no one complains about it. And yes even when I heard her 'FROZEN" track for the first time, I kept playing it for about 10-12 times. Now, I am not in touch with her tracks recently because I am not very die-hard fan of her but yes I like her famous tracks. So I will download her "GIVE it to me" track and give it a go!

yES i do play the song over and over again especially those which remainds of a love long lost. I am such a romantic so I tend to reminisce a lot and a good way of reminiscing things is by listening to your theme song or your favorite song.
