Hi, I still have a bad sleep last night, but the problem is not me, it's my roomate, I already fall asleep last night, and then she begin washing, and make loud noise, so then I wake up, and can't sleep any more, and start thinking about the day things, and thinking about the office things. That feeling is really bad, maybe you can try drive a glass of milk before you fall asleep, and listening some soft music, help yourself relax, wish you will have a good sleep tonight.

Yes, when you can't sleep it only means you are stressed. ME every Sunday night , it so hard to sleep early. Even if I plan already to sleep early I can't do it by night. My brain continue thinking and thinking. Thoughts are downloading. I can't do anything to stop thinking. I can only sleep if I had done tons of work and very tired at the end of the day, I will definitely get to sleep.

It happens sometimes, specially if my mind is so preoccupied with many things. Usually it's work related problems or personal problems that keeps me awake at night. I find it so hard to sleep thinking of solutions to the problems.

hi jugsjugs oh yes I sure have and it seems like the same old thoughts keep cycling through my head, I know this will' just make it harder than ever to get to sleep. Sometimes I remember something that Norman Vincent Peale wrote about pretending you have a large bag and take out all your troubles and tie up in the bag and toss them in the corner. say to yourself I will not think about them anymore tonight. you will be able to sleep.Sometimes I have got up and written down what was bothering me, then stuck it away and pretended I had just got rid of all my problems. that way I did get some sleep. Also sometimes when you do that, and look at it again in the daylight some of them seem pretty petty and you can actually get rid of those. Also it would not hurt to talk frankly to whoever is getting you all upset and maybe solve or alleviate some of your stresses.

I feel like I missed something about what is going on with you. I usually do not get to where I cannot sleep, but I did have panic attacks this morning before I woke up. I do sometimes wake up ridiculously early because of things I worry about but cannot help.

Yes, I have nights and days like that. I do what I can about what is bothering me and then I pray about it and ask God to deal with it. Then I let it go as much as I can. That nearly always helps and gives me some peace. Most problems will solve themselves if we do what we can then give it time.

Yes, I have nights like that, too. The nights that I just cannot sleep due to worrying about things that I cannot even do anything about. Sometimes I worry about things that I have to do or I start worrying about the what if somehing happened to my mother before Christmas and things like that. I am going to have to start staying up until I am more tired this time of year so when I go to the bed maybe I can go to sleep. Happy Mylotting jugsjugs

I am having sleeping problems but I know it it the hormones as I am going through the change of life.I am sorry to hear you are so stressed and things cannot change for you at the moment. We all have bad times but beleave me you will get through it,don't worry about things you cannot change at the moment.Read a book or watch a film something to give your mind a rest and take your mind of your troubles. Have you tried meditation that can help.Good luck.

Oh yes. My hubby and I are both like that these days. He is thinking about work all the time. And I just keep tossing and turning - more because the baby in my tummy does crazy things at night. Not to mention how I have to go to the bathroom so often at night - so my sleep gets interupted. Hope better sleeping nights are coming!

I can relate to what you go through to becouse i find it hard to settle down in bed. Sometimes when i am actually in bed i find it that i have tossed and turned and havent slept a wink at all i dont want to take any sleeping pills as they can get addictive so im just trying not to get to stressed. So overall i would just advise you dont think to much and keep you'r head clear and hopefully that might help you.....:D

This used to happen to me a lot. It used to be so bad that I had to be put on really strong sleeping pills. After a while, I asked to be taken off of them because they were too strong and made me want to sleep too much. Now I don't have this problem as much as I used to and I don't sleep too much, just normal. I am sorry you are going through this and I hope you can get some sleep soon without things replaying themselves in your head so much. :)

It sounds as if your getting a little depressed. I have been that way before as well, very stresed and very depressed. It's not a very fun thing to be. I hope you get to feeling better soon, and hopefully get some sleep.

i'm like that quite a lot, what i do is sit up as late as possible, until i'm so tired that i can hardly keep my eyes open, then go to bed,coz that way as soon as my head hits the pillow i'll be asleep and not laying there thinkng

The way to beat this is try to stay up, tell yourself you have something you need to do, like read a book, or watch a tv show, and most likely you will fall asleep. Seems like whenever you try to sleep you can't, but when you want to be awake you fall asleep. What i do is try to stay up to watch something on tv, then I fall asleep, but I tivo it anyways...lol

I often experience this! I find my mind will not switch off and things go over and over. I lay there thinking "I really need to go to sleep" and the more you think it the more difficult it is to sleep! I find I sleep better if I workout, some boxing workouts are great for stress - just punch your troubles and stresses away! A nice relaxing bath before bed sometimes helps too.
