I have fallen asleep on the couch many times. I do watch television on the couch, so when my eyes are tired and I am sleepy I sleep on it. our couch is very comfortable, I do sleep on it, write on it eversince. And our couch was there even when I was not been born.

We have a very comfortable couch, but I don't frequently fall asleep on it. Since we've had our couch I've only fallen asleep on it a couple of times and the reason that I fell asleep on it those times was because I had a cold at the time and I knew that my coughing was keeping my husband from sleeping well so I just laid on the couch instead of going back into the bedroom after I got out of bed to use the bathroom.

I have fallen a sleep on the couch more than I can count. But as many times as I have fallen asleep on the couch my husband has done it twice as many times. He pretty much falls asleep on the couch every night. We will right in the middle of watching a show a lot of the time and the next thing I know he is snoring away. Sometimes he gets up and comes to bed and sometimes he just stays on the couch all night. I used to wake him up to get him to go upstairs, but in the last couple of years I have given up. I will just usually cover him with a blanket and go on up to bed.

Yes, I certainly do! Lately, though, it has been rather difficult because I have Restless Leg Syndrome and I have a loveseat, so, my legs bother me very easily. I find that I don't fall asleep on the couch as readily as I used to. The few times I do it sure does feel comfy. Purrs, Catwoman=^..^= & Mija

I watch TV on a recliner...and I fall asleep there everynight, sometimes to the wee hours of the morning. I think my recliner is more comfortable then my couch...lol

Oh yes, when I was still unmarried. I used to live alone. Coming home from a day of work makes me so tired that I could fall asleep on the couch while watching the late night news. Now that I'm already married, my husband would always check on me and ask me to sleep in our room.

Yes, I have fallen asleep on the couch before. The one that I have isn't all that comfy as it is vinyl, but if I'm tired enough I can pass out on it if I'm sitting down or laying back on it. LOL Back when I was a teenager I would fall asleep on my dad's old La-Z-Boy recliner whenever I was reading a good book. That chair may have been ugly, but it sure was comfy. I could pass out in it no matter how awake I was. There was just something about that chair that always made me conk out. LOL Happy mylotting!

I very rarely lay on the couch to watch tv as when I do I do fall asleep! Yesterday I laid down to watch the Vikings game and woke up an hour and half later! It's much too comfy. My son calls my loveseat and couch the magic furniture as when you lay on it you go to sleep instantly...I think it's because the fabric makes you so warm and cozy!

For sure!!! I have a cane framed lounge suite with the big cushions& it's soooo comfy!! When I am watching tv from about 10pm, I will lay down on it & it's nothing for me to wake up a few hours later!!

Yes, I find it very easy to fall asleep on a couch. When this couch gets comfy then that is when I get cozy and relaxed. My sleep comes very fast. Especially after I eat a big and delicious meal.

Yup, i done it many times especially when i am watching television then i get tired from boring show i sleep on the couch when I like to relax myself or getting a few nap there after. Then, i wake up to find myself with backache as my position in sleeping is in wrong position.

I have woken up on the sofa to find that i ached as well as that i felt alot worse for having a short sleep than having no sleep at all that was awful as well as waking up cold as well even with all the heating on as well as the gas fire on in the frontroom.I must have been tired as i was laying half off the sofa.

I have fallen asleep numerous times sitting on my couch while watchng TV. I think if it wasn't comfy that wouldn't happen. Then I will get up to go to bed and find myself wide awake. This happens all the time. There I was nodding off on the couch then I get to the bedroom and eyes are wide open. Its so frustrating.

Ha ha! I nurse our newborn on our couch during the day . . . I'm sure I've fallen asleep with him clutched in my arms at least once a day. Luckily I'm sitting back so he would never fall - ha ha!! I don't know if it's really falling asleep, but I have catched myself nodding and starting to doze off. I probably have done this a few times at my parent's house too recently! With a newborn, I find it easy to fall asleep ANYWHERE.

I think that if you are tired as well as having a new born it is hard enough trying to keep your eyes open let alone being on a cosy sofa as i think that you get soo comfy as well as relaxed that your eyes tend to close and before you know it you are out for the count, the worst thing is waking up and being cold or you ache.

I rarely fall asleep on the couch, but my husband falls asleep on the couch all the time. He's sleeping on the couch right now, as a matter of fact. LOL It's pretty funny to see. What's funny is when he falls asleep with the TV on, and sings along with the show themes in his sleep. haha

My husband has als and I have to turn him over a few times during the night, plus get him a drink of water, some tylenol, and the other thing - no not that! I know what you are thinking. so I get rather tired during the day. I can fall asleep on the couch very easily even after I drink coffee. The trouble is that it is usually near suppertime. And in the evening I fall asleep just as the best part of the tv show comes one.

In summer when I lie on my sofa watching TV for a long time, I tend to fall asleep if I happen to feel sleepy. My mother often falls asleep sitting on sofa watching TV. It is interesting of her because if she is waken up to go to sleep on her bed, she would fall asleep that easily.

I find that i am soo worn out no matter how hard i try to keep my eyes open i still tend to drift off,yet when i go to bed even if i have not been to sleep i still can not get off to sleep.I have terrible trouble getting off to sleep of a night time, where as once in a while i just fall asleep on the sofa.

I think that no matter what time of the day or night that you fall asleep on the couch you always tend to wake up freezing cold as well as you ache when you try to get up.There has been a time in the past where i was asleep and rolled off the couch and ended up getting a black eye as my face hit the cup that was on the floor.

When I was little I fell asleep anywhere. I remember one time I went over to my aunt and uncle's house and fell asleep under their kitchen table. It was almost 10PM and I was tired. My parents thought it was cute and the family could not believe that I actually fell asleep under the table.
