Holding the TV remote on my left ear and attempting to change the TV channel with the AC remote I couldn't really accomplish anything. I went on trying with the AC remote but the channels just wouldn't change! This went on till I found my real phone lying on the bed peacefully! This has had a terrific impact on me for two days straight. I just can't stop laughing at myself and switching off from the off and on bouts is really getting difficult. Here I go again and allow me please...

Hi Mimpi, Don't worry you're not alone in the kind of situation. this refreshes my experience with my cellphone and complaining to my husband that the mousepad is not working. my husband then was surprise. he said you don't have any mouse for your laptop honey...you just have to navigate it with your forefinger. then when i check on i am holding my cellphone as mouse. OMG...LOL!

Oh, this is really funny incident that you have related... I would like you to laugh at me too , I mean; I would like to relate an incident about me. One day, I speaking over my cell phone with a friend with my left hand in my pocket, where I always keep my phone. It hit me all of sudden that my phone was missing... I became panicky and started searching for it wildly everywhere... My friend sensed my panic and asked about it. I said, 'I can't find my cell phone... It is lost...!' She started laughing and informed me that I was talking to her, using the phone that I had been searching for. And she added, 'It is stuck to your ear now with your hand...' Heavens! And we started laughing.. It was a real funny incident..

Hi dear! I am much relieved to know that I am not the only fool in this world because during last summers, I exactly did the same drill and was astounded to find that I was unable to switch my channels with my remote (which was meant for AC). It is really difficult to handle remotes of AC, TV and mobile handset at the same time. You would have heard this – A patient went to a Doctor with a burnt ear. Doctor asked – ‘What happened?” The patient replied – “Doctor, actually the phone bell rang and I was ironing and instead of picking up the phone, I lifted the iron and brought it to closer to my ears for talking and I got my ear burnt. The Doctor – “Oh! I see, but I find that your second ear is also burnt, what happened to that one?” The patient – “Actually, Doctor, once I kept the iron down, the phone bell rang again after 5 minutes or so and I again picked up the iron and brought it closer to my other ear, hence this condition. (Lol! ) Also, many a times I try to change the channels, when my cordless phone remains in my hand (it is similar to my TV remote),and to my astonishment I fail to change the channels......(lol!) dpk

Luckily there wasn't any iron around! . I just can't stop laughing and it's giving me good exercise also. And its indeed to difficult to handle so many gadgets. I remember once I kept pressing my mobile keys to change the channels! I am bad in multi tasking, I have realised it today.

I am smiling to know that I succeeded in my attempt to make you laugh. It was good that I did not pick up the iron, when I had to pick up the TV remote. We all are alike when it comes down to such kind of funny acts.

hahaha... I think the audience enhances the intensity of the fun element later when we reminiscence. You story reminds me of the times I go mad for my glasses when they are sitting right on my nose! I live with my parents and most of the times they are on the other floor. So that leaves me with no audience at all. I am glad you shared your story and gave me a chance laugh at mine.

We all get really silly sometimes. There was a time I was yelling at everyone as to who took my eyeglasses. It was on my head like a headband all along. But everyone was holding in their laughter because I was at the height of my rage! The difference is, I had a whole lot of audience. You didn't!lol

I hate to say this to you, but that is absolutely hilarious. I've never done anything quite like that, but I also wouldn't put it past myself. There are times that I do some pretty crazy things, but then again, there are times that I don't realize that I am doing them. What I think is the best thing about the story that you've shared is that you were comfortable enough with the situation to find the great humor in it.

Mimpi, you haven't truly made it to the upper levels of the idiot scale until such time as you've tried to flush your armchair and kicked back to relax on your toilet. Getting those two mixed up is nothing short of "Doh" Gold! I'm inspired to see that you're well on your way though. Kudos to you for panda spanking at a subconscious level these days too. Many would give anything for such a gift!

Laughter is good. All these devices can get confusing, eh? Today my phone was ringing and I could not remember where I set it down. You would have laughed, too, to see me running around trying to find it.

I think we all need a good laugh, but people also need to learn to laugh at themselves too! Clearly you've already learned that lesson - LOL! I haven't done anything like that, but one time I got my hairbrush turned around and attempted to brush my hair with the smooth end...yeah, that really did a lot - ha ha! I can't think of anything else crazy that I've done lately, but I'm sure there's plenty. Thanks for sharing your silly moment!

It can get confusing, can't it? I'm glad you finally got it all straightened out! Who were you talking to while holding the TV remote to your ear? Were they answering you? LOL I'm having a kind of opposite problem with my TV, not the remote, though. The remote is fine and it IS the right one, but I have to continuously hit the "last" button because my TV is haunted. It keeps switching channels on me, even when I'm not touching the remote. I've even taken the remote out of the room but the TV still changes channels. Not just one or two, though, it goes through every one before I stop it by hitting the "last" button, but it just starts acting up right away again. Actually, it's the cable box, not the TV. We have to switch it with one that ISN'T haunted. Let's see now, have I done anything embarrassing like you have? Hmmm... Oh, yeah, I opened the refrigerator door and put a chicken in that I had just prepared to bake.

LOL...you got another feather on your cap! Mine is countless! I am really interested to know about your haunted cable box! Anymore spooky stories? Your baking in the refrigerator story is equally amusing and I bet, I have been there as well.
