Are you going to watch the wedding of Prince William and Kate?

Do you like to watch the wedding of Prince William and Kate live on television? Or if you are living in London are you going to watch it for real? Why do you want to watch it live or why do you want to see them on the wedding day? Do you have any idea about the schedule if what time this will be started to televised? I really want to watch is because I really want to see how fabulous it is the fact that they belong to the royal family or I want to see how it looks when it comes to the royal blood. I am also curious about the wedding gown of Kate if what would that be and who will be her designer. I also want to know the representatives that will go to the wedding of William and Kate. How about in the Philippines do we have our representative that will be a visitor on their wedding? Because as I could read on the other sources Barrack Obama is invited. So I am wondering if Pnoy would be there? They are not really my idol even Prince William but I really want to know how they would represent themselves to the whole world especially when they are already together.

hi metatronik as an American I doubt if we will see this wedding in its entirety on our television sets but we will get some pictures in the news I am sure. I could care less as we have enough problems of our own here to be taken care of before a royal wedding appears on modern US television.

I am actually curious if who is gonna be the representative of our country that will attend the wedding of them. I am wondering if Pnoy can make it.
• Pasay, Philippines
13 Dec 10
If he will attend that for the sake of courtesy that he was invited then I think there is nothing wrong that he will attend it. I trust Pnoy for that if he thinks it will just for a glamour and it would be having too much expenses to attend for that, then definitely I am sure he wouldn't.
13 Dec 10
If Pnoy thinks that there are benefits if he goes, weighing benefits versus expenses, taking into consideration practicality above all, then he might. If our country would benefit from that, then he must. If it is just for glamour and the like, he must then think twice.

There is so much pagontry and ceremony at these royal weddings and I am so very romantic I would have to watch it. I watched when Di was married to Charles and now I am happy for Prince WIlliams and hope it works for them both. I am sure the wedding gown will be lovely. I am sure it will be a wonderful occasion.

You might have to get bits and pieces from different british media. I don't they will film the more personal moments. I would start checking now for the better british media. Ones that are respectful and in the know about the royal family. Because when the actually time comes they are all going to be overrun with bits and pieces and you will want to hone in on the best of the bunch.

What I am hoping here is that we could be able to watch their reception as well.

We will watch the wedding of Prince William and Kate on TV in the states. I have no idea when it will be scheduled. This is another chapter of the Royal family and the family of Prince Charles and Princess Diana. We enjoyed watching their wedding as well as when she had the boys and watching them grow up. It was sad that she had to die in such and awlful way. We continue to watch anything to do with Prince William and his brother. There are not that many royal families left, it is a way of life that we have no idea how much longer there will be royal families.

Hiya MK, Answer is if it is on here which I imagine it will be then yes I will. I like William and Harry so much more reachable. I loved Princess Diana always and she did so much in life. William is still like her so much. William and Harry are my favourites. I will watch because it´s William and probably I will see Harry on his Wedding Day too that´s if they televise it. I don´t know anything about his Girlfriend or Fiancee that does not matter to me it´s the future King of England I want to watch. I love Weddings anyway so it´s a good chance to see what I imagine will be a very nice one all in all.

Hiya MK, Yes the second one. They are more open to being with ordinary People at least they seem to have that talent for being able to be with normal everyday People. Not just the elite. This is what I like about them. I have seen the Photos on Yahoo that Diana´s Photographer did for them not long back. Very natural and nothing forced about the Photos Kate seems to be a nice Person.

What do you mean by more reachable? Have you met them personally already? Meaning they know how to get along with other people no matter if they are elite or not?

I will watch the royal wedding. I think most of us like to watch the fairy tale weddings. I want to see what she is wearing and whom will be there and I love how all the people in London honor them by lining the sidewalks. I feel bad in a way because everyone will be comparing her to Princess Dianna. I am happy for Prince William.
13 Dec 10
He gave her his mothers engagement ring! No wonder there are comparisons being made.

I don't know the couple at all but we all should be hoping that there are no comparisons in the two matrimonies.

I know it from a fact that there will be comparison that will happen between Princess Diana and Kate but then of course I can't see the point of doing that. Though I just hope that she will be able to do her responsibilities as a Princess. I am not expecting her to be exact like Diana but then I hope she can do the same as what Diana did to other people in terms that she knows how to get along and versatile with others.

I'm English and watching the wedding is compulsory for all true blood English men (and women of course) They are making the day a national holiday so that no-one will have the excuse of having to be at work for not watching the spectacle. All backsliders will be shipped off to the Tower and made to watch endless re-runs of the whole thing by way of punishment. I may take a tent up to the wilds of Scotland as the only way of avoiding the wall to wall TV coverage. I mean World War III could break out and the news would be sidelined until the wedding was over. We have the Easter holiday the weekend before the wedding and there is another public holiday (may day) on the Monday following so there will only be 3 actual work days in a 10 day period from before Easter until the 3rd May. The entire country will probably just say, "Oh sod it! We'll take the entire week off - it's not worth coming in just for 3 days!"

Good thing you have that mentality and at least you are not a social climber that you will be only want to get along with rich people then if they are not elite you wouldn't be interested to be friends with them.

The wedding will be very hard to avoid here in England. I wish them well but I also wish the media here would find something else to report. They are full of speculation and intrusion. More people will watch than admit to wanting to watch. I hope that they enjoy a good and long marriage but that is about it. The Royal family lost their appeal to many here a long time ago.

The Pres loves to guess what the Royals are doing. The Royal family is viewed by many in the UK as a waste of money, but people will still watch them on TV, just not admit that they are going to do that in case they lose face with heir friends. Nothing to do with Lady Diana - just a sense that there are too many royals.

Well, if there is an opportunity to watch the wedding of these prominent personalities of the decade I will. But unfortunately I can't watch if the wedding did not telecast in CNN,BBC or any TV station which is free to watch...

That is very sure that they will televise it live on CNN, BBC even Fox News and other international news network. I have this feeling that it will also televised in Manila as well.

If it´s free on the cable, I´ll watch it from time to time. Even if I´m not what you´d call "interested", everyone will be talking about it so it becomes part of the moment´s small talk. I´m sure the event will be at least boring. The media doesn´t know how to fill time from event to event so they show hats, shoes, and talk a lot so they show themselves more than the princess

Thats the problem that the exposure will be more likely with the reporters but good thing I think there are other channels that would only focus to the event itself without anyone reporting. Just like what happened to Princess Diana's burial it was not much talk but focusing only to the event.

I live near London but I shall be keeping away from their wedding... Yes its great that they have other and are getting married, I guess its a bit of light during this awful climate.. I am getting slightly annoyed with it being all over British tv though... The other day on the news they put Prince William and Kates wedding plans before any news about the war or the soldiers bodies that have been bought home.. I think that is wrong, there are people dying for us and a 'celebrity wedding' holds the news over that...

Good thing I am not living in England if that is the case. But then I can't blame the media if they are still focusing the attention with the Royal Family. At least the other important news were still aired.

Yes but it was only just shown... Its not fair... But I still wish them luck and good health

Hiya Hatley, I can appreciate how you feel. Anyone listening to the News would get to feel like that. With William it´s looking beyond all that misery they want us to think of. It´s just a Marriage between a Man and a Woman really. But it´s just that Prince William is a very down to earth person. He is so like his Mother you would feel like you were to talking to the next Door neighbour. Well that is how he comes across he is reachable. If I saw him in the Street I would take the time to talk to him if I could that is and not like the others that go around with their Nose up in the Air and an arrogant attitude. I have just seen something on the News that would make anyone feel sick to the very heart. If that Couple would have had some kind of help this might not have happened and People like William are what we need for everyone to become aware of other´s needs. No more than that Hatley I can know how you feel in a sense. But I switch the News off as there is very little good News and all the rest is doom and gloom stuff and they repeat it over and over again. How refreshing to see something nice like William and Kate. I wish them both the very best and to you too. Hugs. Sue.xxx

I think William have inherited his personality from Princess Diana, that he is even involve in other advocacies especially in Charities. He is even a President of some organization which is not only one but more. I think he wants himself to be involve with people around. Just like Princess Diana he is very helpful with other people hopefully Kate is like him as well that the couples are good role model to the whole world.

No, i think i will not watch. I don't even know when their wedding will be. I will not watch this intentionally but for sure i will be able to have a glimpse of it because it will be all over the news, tv, radio, internet, magazines, name it! It will definitely be a big wedding with fabulous gowns and everything, they are in the royal family after all. It would be nice if Pnoy will be invited..if they personally know him then why not.

Unless something important comes up to prevent it, I will be watching on television. I'm a total royalty junkie, so this is right up my alley. I have no idea when it will be, but I'm sure all the information will be available when the event draws closer.

No, I’m not going to watch the marriage live on TV… in fact I really don’t like watching such live ceremonies ‘live’… I just don’t have the patience to sit thru the entire thing for so long. And sometimes it gets so boring… I mean I cant just go on gaping at the crowd, the royalty/stars, the entire show…after a point it seems the same things over and over again. So in all probability, I’ll be watching the news coverage where they show just the most important parts.

I won't watch it, but I would like to see her dress etc. I am sure I will get to see it, because I am sure it will be all over the news and entertainment programs, especially since the President will be there. With Charles and Diana, it was all over TV and I am sure this will be the same. I guess in these hard times it is good to have a fairytail wedding to concentrate on. I hope they have a better marriage than other royal couples have had.

I don't think I'll be watching the wedding. I'll be busy in college then and should focus on my studies. I might look at pictures later or something because I'm curious about the dress. Have you heard that Kate Middleton has refused to have s*x with Prince William until their wedding night because she does not want an unplanned pregnancy? She says the only 100% sure way to prevent it is abstinence. Prince William couldn't believe it and was like You got to be kidding? lol. I think that's pretty funny.

Is that true? I haven't heard that but however how reliable is it? I think what Kate did was only right. It is not being about conservative but then that is gonna be a biggest issue the fact that this is not celebrity issue anymore but the Royal Family. Yes we are already in a modern world where you can hear and see a lot of people that are having unplanned pregnancy as in no big deal about it but in case with them if happens then again that is really gonna be a big issue.

If I live in London,I must want to on-site experience their wedding,I think it will be exciting moment, the ceremony of an unprecedented scale must be costly, the guest no matter from the status, wealth level it is very strong, but more importantly,I bless the couple, they must be happy,I want to express my blessing on the spot!

Not just to be happy here is important but then they must really have their strong relationship especially in marriage life. I just hope that Kate can successfully make it.
