Full Time myLotter

I hate job hunting It's such a pain painstakingly slow process. It's starting to get ridiculous. And I've been debating on just being a myLot junkie this summer and myLot instead of finding a summer job.The jobs I do find aren't suited for me. Like landscaping. I'll do it, of course I will, but you have to be able to lift 50 pounds and stuff and 50 pounds is half my weight. I'm not exactly strong I've found others as well, but...they just...stink. That's the easiest way to put it. Like jobs I don't have a specialty in. Go figure. I might have to resort to retail, but if I have to do that or a job I hate, I'd rather myLot. Wouldn't you pick myLot over a stinky job? Now, saying this, if you couldn't find a job this summer or a job at all for that matter, would you become a full time myLotter if you aren't one already?

My bum gets sore doing too much mylot! I can't imagine sitting here eight hours a day, just waiting for a discussion that might not be deleted! And what for? A few cents that wont pay for the Internet connection. A little is fun, but what you are contemplating is a drag!

Well, Peter, I wouldn't sit here all day without any breaks! My butt would get sore as well! And it would definitely be a drag. I'd do other things while I myLot as well.

myLot doesn't really pay enough to devote full time to it. I can spend a couple of hours a day here and earn less than a dollar so I really don't think being here full time would even buy anyone's weekly groceries! There are a lot of people having trouble finding jobs in this wonderful "summer of recovery"....you have plenty of company. I've given up looking for the time being and make do with a small income and what I can make online. It stinks. I'd love to have someplace to go every day and be able to look forward to the weekends and holidays! I do hope you find a job that you can tolerate soon. It's awful to dread going to work!

Yeah, well, I guess myLot is sort of last resort. I mean, it gives some money and that's better than none if I can't find a job. It's even harder because there are so many people looking for jobs nowadays. Ugh!

your're right. It is better than none but I would not suggest that you should give up looking for a full time job unless you have someone that is willing to support you. Below, Gifts said that she made 70.00 one month. That is some good extra cash but I know that she put in extreme time to get that 70.00. if you break that down then it is less than 25.00 per week. that is just a tad bit over 4.00 per day! Mylot does not pay anywhere near 1.00 per hour so you have to work over 4 hours to earn that 4.00.

Well, of course I wouldn't stop looking for a job. I'm actually a student and am on summer break. I have a job during the school year. I just need some money to pay for gas so I can actually do some activities this summer. I don't need to pay food bills or anything.

Oh, I so hate to job hunt! I agree, it's a terribly slow painstaking process. I'd rather just have the job already and work my butt off! As much as I love mylot, I'd have to choose the stinky job over it. Unfortunately when it comes to mylotting I earn only pennies a day, so even a part time minimum wage job would bring in a lot more than that, which is really sad as no one can survive on a wage like that. Still the best bet is to not give up on the job hunting. Eventually something will turn up if we just keep on trying!

I think it would have to be a very last resort. You'd definitely be better off going to a real job. Although you could just Mylot in between finding that good job.

If money wasn't a concern, then I would definitely be a full time myLotter. I could spend hours and hours here, and just get lost on the many interesting discussions. Unfortunately, I also need to find something to do that would pay me enough to get by. So, I'd get any job, even if it has to be retail. And then I'll just be a part time myLotter.

Wow, I even cannot afford to pay internet connection while one month with Mylot. Mylot can be a good way to earn a side income, maybe for a couple of nice dinner or a nice dress, but certainly can’t be a main source of income. Well nothing easy come from earning money, I guess….

Well, out of practicality, I guess I'd find one, the closest job that interests me. Because I cannot blame you for taking a job that you think isn't really exciting, right? But, I guess taking time participating here in MyLot this summer isn't going to feed our hungry stomachs, if you know what I mean. What I'll say is find something off the internet, and during my free period, I'll visit MyLot and have a good conversation with other members in here.

Frankly, no matter how much you work hard in Mylot. You can not earn a lot anyway. I can not even make a living by such a low earning. So I just post here for fun. I still have to find a job rather than being a full time Mylotter because I can not live by such a low paid. I love China

I don't think mylotting could pay my internet bills. How could I mylot if I don't have internet access? But right now I am using my brothers internet connection. So I'm free to mylot, and I won't have to worry about the internet bill. So, in answer to your question, no, I won't choose mylot over a regular job because the amount I'm earning here isn't enough to support me.

If I was young I would rather have a job. Buy some clothes or have money to do something with. Mylot is fun and all but the money is a 1/100th of what you could make at a job. You could still work on Mylot when you were winding down in the evenings. It could really add to your income!

Hi Stephanie Ann C: Of course I'd pick it as a full time job IF I could get enough money from the site. Unfortunetly, Mylot is a really nice site but you can't get enought to live just by posting your answer to the discussions on the site so I have to pick the stinky job option for the pay . ALVARO

im sorry to say this but i tried to work here in mylot full time before and what i could receive the most was 3 dollars in one day. i love mylot but the truth is that what we get paid here isnt enough for a living. trust me bcs i tried it before. you are right that its really hard to get a job that we like. but sadly sometimes we have to work on what we dont like. its really sad but is the truth :( anyway i wish you can soon find a job that you love^^

I envy anyone who can myLot all day. Not so sure I can sit at the computer most of the day or evening in order to earn an extra income responding on myLot. I don't start that many discussions and understand that's where the money really adds up. Good luck if you decide to use myLot as your main source of income. Hope it works out well for you.

I too hate job hunting, but I put in over 8 hours on mylot one Saturday and ONLY made a dollar, so I couldn't afford to give up a "real" job to mylot well, maybe if I did tasks...

Hi StephanieAnn, Oh I just could not be satisfied just mylotting as a means of supporting myself. That would require being in front of the computer more than is humanly possible. I have always been a very independent person and I had kids to raise so I've always taken whatever job I could find to make sure we have a roof and food and whatever we need. Even if it were just me, I would not feel right expecting someone else to support me....why should they have to work harder while I sit around not even trying? I would not want to support another able-bodied adult and therefore would not expect one to support me. I do retail and I'll tell you...at first I hated it. I took the job because it was what was available at the time and I needed a job. I ended up loving it. It's not so bad. You get to meet all kinds of people and it's never boring. Most important...it will pay a whole lot more than mylot and take up less of your time.

I spend as much time on myLot as I can. I know what you mean by the kinds of available jobs. That's why I work mostly online jobs and there aren't many of them. It just means we have to hustle more.

Well no i don't think mylot can ever be consider as a full time job because we earn less if we compare to a offline job but yeah anything is possible it all depend on you and how much you can make on mylot if one can post in 1000's of discussion and even make the discussion going on every day then one can earn good amount from mylot but still one has to post lot i means on lots of post every day to earn good amount here but we all know that's not possible

Hi,I will be a full time mylotter in this summer vocation,I do agree Mylot doesn't provide enough payments for mylotters. But Mylot provides me not only money but also the opportunity to communicate with other people from all over the world, and I could also pratise my English here.I love here, compensation is not the only one thing I care about here.
