Have you been watching America's Got Talent this season? If so, you should know the African acrobats that call themselves Zuma Zuma. Unfortunately they've been eliminated now.. but they made it up to the semi-finals and were a great group! Well.. Zuma Zuma was at our state fair! They put on a little show.. which wasn't quite as impressive as what I've seen them do on AGT.. but it was still cool. They piled up a bunch of chairs and did some hand stands on the chairs.. and they did the pyramid thing where all the guys piled onto one other guy. Unfortunately we didn't get to see them wrap themselves around another guy.. that was cool on TV! After they put on their little show people were able to go up to them and shake their hands and get a picture. I snapped quite a few pictures.. here I've shared one I took of my 3 older kids with them. My oldest son and my daughter have watched the show with us this season, so they were really excited to get to see and meet Zuma Zuma in person. Though a couple of the guys aren't the same ones as were on the show.. 3 of the guys were on the show.. and they did some of the same acts as we've seen on the show.. so it was very cool and exciting! Have you ever gotten to meet someone you've seen on TV? Was it a real celebrity, or a contestant on a reality TV show? BTW- apparently Alec Baldwin was also at our State Fair, but I didn't go on the day he was there.

I think I've been disappointed with most people I've met from the TV. I used to live close to a dance school which taught many children of the famous and it was fairly common to bump into the parents at shows.

Most would think that's pretty cool.. but I know celebrities are human too and have many flaws. I'm sure most of them are snobby, stuck up, and narcissistic. I'm sure I would be if I had that much money, LOL. I'm already somewhat snobby and I'm broke! LOL

I have never met anyone who has been on television. I think it would be pretty exciting. I don't go crazy over celebrities, but I still think it would be fun to meet someone famous or has at least been on television.

It was exciting.. I thought. Apparently the kids weren't quite as enthused. I tried to get my oldest to go over and shake their hands, but he wouldn't unless I did.. and I had to pressure him to get into the picture with them. Maybe it's just his age. I'm sure he'd go nuts if it was a famous football player or something.

I kind of remember that group. That's pretty cool. I don't think I've ever met anyone from tv. There was a comedian called Galigher (sp) that used to tell jokes and then smash watermelons and stuff with a huge sledgehammer. We went to see his show at a local arena and waited around and got to meet him and get his autograph.

I have met a few famous people and seen a few in the street too - I haven't been watching AGT - I watch enough shows that I hardly have time for anything else! Lol It is so good you got to meet them though. x

I have not been regularly watching America's Got Talent, but I've seen on or two acts as I channel surf. I think I saw the last part of this Zuma Zuma act (didn't know what they were called when I saw them). I think they were the group in which Howie Mandell commented that 'when you hang around with your friends, you literally hang around!' We went to our version of a state fair a couple of weekends ago, but we didn't bother looking who was the celebrity on stage.

That's cool that you were able to get pictures of them with your kids!I've never met anyone from tv as far as I know. I think I might of seen Eddie Murphy by him self sitting at a table at a truck stop but I didn't want to ask him and ruin his privacy LOL.

I would have been same as you and not wanted to interrupt him, no matter who he was. That's just rude and insensitive. Might have snapped a pic or 2 though!
