Do you always misplace your TV's remote control?

Imagine watching two of your favorite shows from two different channels. Whenever commercials go off one channel, you'd click on that remote to change channels to check what is going on on the other channel. or... You are watching one show on one channel and remembered that you will watch another show in another channel. then... Your remote is nowhere near you. You try to find where it is but to no avail. There is nothing worse than searching for the remote control when you’re sitting down to a long, relaxing stretch of television-watching. Do you often misplace your TV's remote control?

I have a couple of boxes underneath the center table for all the remotes I have on the living room. But even with this specific places for them, I still find myself looking for them all the time. Once in a while me, or the kids would have them on our hand while we go to other rooms, and 'forgetfully' leave them there. I've even resorted to having 2 universal remotes for my TV/PVR! And I always keep the extra in the bedroom!

I have one area where I tend to keep the remotes, but unfortunately there's not many level surfaces in the room that are cat proof! my digital tv remote went missing the other night, and after some head scratching whether I was having a senior moment or not in having put it down somewhere else ,decided to check on the floor under the computer desk-yep,he'd knocked down the remote and gotten it stuck under there!

I am always leaving it somewhere, I want to chain it to the sofa that way it will be there when I need it.

It is very common that we often misplace a TV's remote control, especially when more than one person use it. Kids seldom remember where they put the remote control. When I ask them where it is, they answer they don't remember where they place it. As a parent we should set out a rule to be followed by all members of the family. Determine a fixed place to put the remote control. Like me, for example, I always place my car keys at the same place every time.

LOL LOL LOL I spend most of my relaxing time now online and dont watch TV. Was just using that nice Sunday afternoon now to write a bit of snail mail and soooooo it would rather annoy me if I misplace yet unanswered mail to find it when ever sitting in a pile of whatever paper stuff. Grin.....

We always know whom to find our TV's remote control,to my daughter. She always hide it so that no one can have a chance to watch while she is around . She have TV in her room but she prefers watching in the living room that is why she always hides the remote.

No I don't always misplace my remote, seeing as we have a table top holder for it, but everybody else does!

Yes! That always happen here. Not to me because I don't watch much TV anymore. But there are lots of times that the remote control of the TV goes missing and my mother would frantically search for it. My big niece and nephew always misplace it because they just put it anywhere after using. They don't know how to put it back to its right place. While my little niece and nephew sometimes play with it so it gets lost sometimes. ^^ When I used to watch a lot of TV, it always happens to me, too. It's really annoying when that happens.

Oh, I've had a couple of times. And it's sometimes a bit frustrating when you're multi-watching :) I mean, there are times when I change back and forth from one channel to another and when I can't seem to find the remote, I'd have to stand up and manually change the channel on the TV set. It's a good thing though that my cable service provider installed these 'boxes' on the three TV sets we have and that you could use any of the remote on any of the TVs.

I do not watch television a a lot, but when I do, it's probably because I'm having a lazy day. And when I'm having a lazy day I don't get up; not even to go to the bathroom. That's why I always try to keep my remote with me. If I didn't, I'd be stuck watching the same channel all day, haha. So I now never misplace my remote, although I used to a lot.
