White House Lies for Nine Days - does anyone care?

The White House, from President Obama, to Secretary Clinton, to Jay Carney, to Ambassador to the UN Susan Rice, lied to the American people about the nature of the attacks in Egypt and Libya, which cost four Americans their lives. They kept up a narrative about an anti-Islamic movie being the cause of the attacks, knowing all of the time and even before the attacks, that the movie did not spur the planned, terrorist attack on the consulate in Benghazi. They lied when they told you that two of the dead Americans were part of the security team, they were not. They came to help, but were not assigned to the consulate. They lied when they told you that the attack was spontaneous. They lied when they told you it had nothing to do with the anniversary of 9/11, even though the attacks occurred on September 11. They lied when they dragged Nakoula Bassele Nakoula out of his house, gave out his name and address and said he was the cause of the terrorism. Does anyone care that the president lied to the American people just so no one would place the blame at his feet for not attending intel meetings and not preparing for attacks he was forewarned of and for being more interested in his fundraiser in Vegas with Beyonce and Jay-Z? When do we start to hold Obama responsible for the decline of the nation under his watch? Can we survive four more years? Does anyone care or are they more interested in whining about the fact that Mitt Romney, a man of proven character, is wealthy? This is our country at stake.

I do not know how you can claim that the White House lied for several days regarding this. I did not read or hear a report of the White House stating anything. Everything I read and heard came out of the mouths of the American media (who is quite often incorrect).

Rollo 1, I would actually like to see the video. Not an American news media article about it. I do not trust our media at all to give us the truth. I know Urdu is one of the official languages of Pakistan, I do, however, find that it is interesting that the video was released with those subtitles. The majority of people is Islambad speak Punjabi. All I read was that the Embassy is trying to calm the situation down. What is so wrong about that? They are doing the right thing by condemning the video. Such trash shouldn't be made. The bigger issue is that we do not trust our own intel. This isn't even an Obama issue. It's a US military, FBI, CIA, ect issue. People are putting the pressure on Obama, he is just a figure head, he has no real control. Actually, at the time Bush DID lie about WMD. That was reported over and over again after the truth was discovered. It wasn't until they accidentally found a stash of WMD that someone declared Bush wasn't lying. It was still a lie when Bush said it. In that respect, Obama isn't lying to the public.

I also wanted to add that no one has proof that Chris Steven's was gay. At this point it is still a totally rumor. I also read that his Dad is a transsexual. Of course, on another rumor mill fake political blog. If he was gay, that isn't why he was killed. Those demonstrations were for one reason (I really believe this had to do with the film). The attacks led by a completely different group for another reason. Problem is, nothing is black and white here or over there. Our media wants everything to be cut and dry so they can twist the facts when it isn't. All of the gray in the middle is what we need to look at. I really believe there is way more to this story that we may ever know.

Whats sad is Hilary Clinton was on video blaming the Ambassadors attack on the online video, Which is very stupid of her. This attack happened on 9/11, they knowingly sent a gay man to be an ambassador in a Muslim country which was a mistake to begin with. If CNN hasn't stolen the Ambassadors journal a lot of things would have not got out. Like how the Ambassador feared his life was in danger but yet no one sent him more security to protect him, knowing the anniversary of 9/11 was coming up.

It's pretty incredible that you have more intelligence on this than our own intelligence agencies have put forth.

You mean it's pretty incredible that our agencies and our President is lying to us about what they knew.

By now, you should know I am a 9/11 truther - jet engine fuel does not melt steel. Evidence and intelligence surrounding Kennedy's assassination has just been reclassified for another 50 years. I will reserve judgment until slightly more than 9 days go by, while details are still coming to surface. I may end up agreeing with you, but certainly not so quickly.

I find it hilarious, yes-even after viewing the truther documentaries, that you would not believe the alternative media's reporting on this, but believe the 'evidence' of those who say 9/11 was an inside job. Nevertheless....there was two weeks warning that there may be some violence and travel advisories were issued. http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Peace/2012/09/18/State-Dept-Issued-Travel-Warning-for-Libya-2-Weeks-Before-Consulate-Attack then there is the scrubbed state dept. website. Pretty damning if you ask me.

To respond to another poster that went straight to attacking Romney, the White House also blamed Romney for shooting first, asking questions later. Romney simply looked at the facts. The Intel that Obama ignored days prior to this happening. It seems to me that somebody should tell our esteemed "great one" That no the Middle East still does not like us even after all of the sorrys, and bowing and appeasing. This will not work until we are all Muslim and bowing to sharia. The United States has always been a power house because we do NOT negotiate with terrorists, we do NOT apologize for our GOD given freedoms and we do NOT take crap from anybody. Ah the good ole days.....

I miss Ronnie, too... Whatever anyone could say against Ronald Reagan, what they couldn't deny is that he was unabashedly pro-freedom, pro-America and decisive when it came to calling an enemy, an enemy. And the world was safer for it. God Bless him.

Did you notice that retractions only happen when the major news organizations and by major I mean NBC, CNN, The Washington Post, and The New York Times disagree with the White House? Hmmm...

CNN had to be careful because they went into the consulate building and found Ambassador Steven's personal journal but didn't turn it over to the Embassy or the government. They kept it and used it as a source for Anderson Cooper's reports. Interesting though, that the new media did a better job of going through the bombed out building than the government did. Guess the difference here is, the government doesn't really want to know what happened.

Here's a thought; CNN posted an interview pre attack with the Blind Sheikh's brother (in Egypt) This brother said the 'demonstration' was to force the release of his brother, the Blind Sheikh. Now the NYTimes says Obama IS considering releasing the first WTC bomber, along with the release of 55 Gitmo detainees! This coming on the heels of reports that the possible ringleader of the Bhengazi attack was repatriated to Libya from Gitmo and released by Libya from prison latter. CNN's Anderson Cooper is NOT one of my favorite people, but he is asking HARDER questions than the other network talking heads. His use of the journal giving him an edge? The layers are pealing off this attempted massive cover up. And Obama is showing he can't handle the blow back by refusing to meet with world leaders, skipping a sceduled luncheon with UN and world leaders. I've read articles from European news sources and our 'friends' in Europe are disgusted with Obama. PM Netanyahu went so far as to call out our policy on Israel and Iran on TV, and was accused of 'interfering' in a US election. Which goes to show, Obama realizes that his failed mideastern policies are affecting his chances in the election.

You say that Romney is a man of proven character? Try tellint that to the people of Massachutes and all those who lost their jobs when Bain Capital closed businesses and plants and sent the jobs overseas under Romney's watch. I feel that, if he had his way, he would completely dismantle the Medicare and Social Security systems (which, by the way, are not entitlements....we paid into them for all our lives) and do away totally with public assistance. I know what we have is not perfect, but I really don't want someone who is completely out of touch with average people to be in the White House. And as far as foreign polocy goes, he has no clue how to use tact and deal with other nations. He will have us in war quicker than you can blink.

President Obama is already dismantling Medicare. Go read the latest Congressional Budget Office Report on Obamacare. Remember when President Obama cut the Social Security tax? Yeah, that didn't help keeping Social Security funding at all.

"Try tellint that to the people of Massachutes " It is spelled Massachusetts, and I am from Massachusetts. I just told you. "Bain Capital closed businesses and plants...etc, nonsense" You do realize that Bain Capital restructured and saved businesses that were going bankrupt and SAVED thousands of jobs all over the US. Bain is the reason that businesses like STAPLES is still in business and employs thousands in its stores. THey would have gone bankrupt otherwise. Bain doesn't make money closing businesses, it is venture capital that tries to save businesses. Sometimes a business cannot be saved, sometimes restructuring could result in layoffs, but a bankrupt business ALWAYS results in job losses. You have no idea how many people still have jobs today because of Mitt Romney. Do some research. "I feel that" - what you "feel" is not fact. It's emotion based on the scare tactics of the Obama campaign. Romney wants to save Medicare. Obama wants to cut Medicare. Romney wants Medicare to be there for future generations, it won't be unless something is done to save it. Romney/Ryan plan does not affect anyone over 55 or anyone on Medicare now. But it secures the plan for the future by reforming it and keeping people like Obama from raiding it for money to fund other projects. Obama cut $716 BILLION dollars from Medicare to fund Obamacare. Did you know that? If tact is lying to people about foreign affairs, then you can keep tact. I want someone who will tell me the truth. If you haven't already noticed, we are already in two wars and Obama involved us in another one in Libya....

Nothing that any of you say will convince me that Romney would be good for our country, so we will have to agree to disagree. As for the information that came from the White House, I see that they reported the news of what was happening, then took the time to learn the details and enlarged upon them, unlike Romney who strated making statements before he even knew what was going on. It takes time for analysis to be complete and get the full story. Done.

Is this an example of that technique they call "muckraking"? (Next thing you know, you'll be blaming him for over-population, the hole in the ozone layer, gas-prices & AIDS/HIV.) We elected a college-professor, not Rambo or Superman (guardian of truth, justice & the American way). Why do we expect a Rambo or Superman when we elected a college-professor. Because 'what a college-professor' does is all we want to expect. Really. We don't want him to take care of our problems, because then either we'll feel like we owe him something or he'll feel that way & force us to pay. And the "lies": it's like when your parents tell you they sent your dog to a farm upstate. Does knowing the truth about it make any difference to your life (you're not gonna see it again either way ... would you like the bitter poison or the sweet?)

Parents lie to their children in such situations to spare feelings. No harm is done and there are no serious consequences to a lie about "You're dog is somewhere else." Pretending that this crap happened because of a video is far different. There are serious, international consequences to lies like that. Even now the morons at the UN are talking about making blasphemy an international crime. http://www.smh.com.au/world/push-to-call-blasphemy-a-crime-20120922-26dlu.html

Wasnt Obamas conduct this last 9 days disgusting? I mean come on...the Russian PM..Valdamir whatever.. Putin...wants to talk about Irans nukes and Obama says he doesn't have time..he has to go to Vegas for a FUnd Raiser and met with some rock stars? that was just to much. The only thing we can do to to solve this mess is to vote him out in November. That will stop the lies, the cheats and the pathetic so-called "running" of this country. And if you aren't sure which to vote for...Obama has shown in the last 4 years he is only interested in being President for the fun/freebies/golf and travel and influencial people he can meet...that's all it means to him so voting for a rabid yellow dog would at least give us some hope! Not sure what hope but at least some! We got NONE with Obama! By the way...those attacks happened not due teo some stupid video that was released back in July but cause Obama started bragging about killing Bin Laden to toot his campaign horn and they didn't like that at all so they attacked! Just happened to be on sept 11.

What choice did the White House have but to spin the story the way they did? Obama is running for a second term. How would it look to come out and say, "I didn't have time to attend intel meetings, but I did read the memos they sent me. I just couldn't be bothered with what they said"? Does anyone care? Some of us do; but unless it hits some physically or financially, most won't care about a before the fact spin (or should I say lie). The main stream media will see to that. Since becoming Secretary of State, has Hilary Clinton accomplished anything in that job? I mean anything that favors the United States.

The people who care are the ones who will seek out the truth. The rest just go alon with whatever the mainstream media feeds them. Mostly excuses for the way this administration is failing at everything from the economy to foreign policy. I think Hills would have done better on some fronts and in some situations if Obama had let her do the right thing or what she wanted to do. Often, such as in the case of those meetings with France and Russia on Libya, she was forced to stand around looking dopey while Obama made up his mind. That said, she isn't really the best and most forceful advocate for American values and freedom, and in these perilous times, she's not up to the job.

Hillary Clinton's past tells me she is every bit lacking in character as her boss. Read up on her years in Arkansas and her handling of the scandals that rocked Clinton's White House. She has no soul. Sold it out to radicals a long time ago.

Yep...Obama and his administration lied. People need to call him out on it too. As for Romney, dont get me started on his character (or lack of). I could care less if he is rich. But don't fool yourself into thinking Romney is a good decent man. Why is it people will attack one candidate but overlook completely the misdeeds of the other? The idea of Romney or Obama in the white house personally scares the heck of me.

If Obama is reelected we will see full blown sharia law in America. Cultural Jihad is being waged in America right now. There are members of the Muslim Brotherhood working in Homeland Security and the State Department. And no one wants to hear or heed the warning. Because we've been brainwashed into believing that Islam is just another religion with a few radicals causing the problems. We are told it is Islamaphobia when the cruel, heartless, inhuman facts of Islamists beheading, stoning and chopping people's hands off are related. Now Obama has said at the UN this week that intolerance of Islam will not be permitted. UN Resolution 1618 makes it a crime to critisize Islam. FB will censor those who post the facts on Islamic treatment of infidels, but allow Islamists to speak on the torture and murder of those who oppose them. Why? We hear repeatedly from our President that it is the movie insulting Islam that led to the violence. Yet, he does nothing when Iranian president insults Jews or Christians during his visit to NY this week, he does nothing when the National Endowment for the Arts (funded by taxpayers) puts on display an insult to Christians. (a cross submereged in urine) He does NOTHING when his friend and donor to his campaign, Bill Maher insults every one's religion. The events that have transpired spread to Europe and were not confinded to the mid east. The Islamists in Europe already have succeeded in establishing sharia law in several countries in Europe. We have Muslim leaders demanding America turn over those American's who insult Islam for trial in their countries, and call for changes in the laws on free speech here in our own country. American journalists discuss the possibility of restricting free speech as if it merely a call to stop trash burning on windy days. We are being attacked in our cities, Dearborn MI just to name one, experiences Muslim violence against Christians regularly. The ties between the Muslim Brotherhood and Nazism: http://israelmatzav.blogspot.com/2011/02/egypts-dark-side.html VERY GRAPHIC (pictures of victims of beheading, acid attacks, mutilations, executions) proof that sharia law is evil, Islam is NOT PEACEFUL and that we are being told to 'tolerate' those who want to destroy us: http://tgates-of-hell.blogspot.com/2011/12/about-twenty-years-ago-i-was-first.html#more http://mypetjawa.mu.nu/archives/213589.php?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter President Obama told us when he was newly elected that on his inauguration day, not only would we look at the world (Islam, middle east)differently, but the world would view us differently. He was correct. Islamists now feel comfortable in killing our diplomats, demanding we rewrite out Bill of Rights, and laws governing ourselves, but also mock our President openly.

Here is a forty minute video done by a learned scholar on the 1400 year history of jihad. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=t_Qpy0mXg8Y A must see if you are one of those who think we should 'tolerate' Islam as just another religion with a few radicals messing it up for the rest of the 'peaceful' Muslims.
