Stick to using your alarm.. and have it on in a way that is annoyingly loud so you'll wake up with the sound. If you could use some music which is lively, it can help you feel energized too! It is also a nice idea to put the alarm clock far away from you so you have to stand to stop it from waking the entire house. :)

I would put the alarm far but hubby gets angry since it disturbs him. That is another reason why i off the alarm fast and that time I am like half asleep... I will try again though. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead

Hi riyauro! I am a morning person and I would always wake up early in the morning even without an alarm clock and even if I sleep late at night. I am with several people already and I notice that this kind of practice is not common to most of us. In my home, I am the only person who can do this and also when I live for some time with my group. The only person that is also like this is my mother. Having an alarm clock would be of help. Then if you get used to waking up early, your body would certainly adjust to your schedule and soon, you wouldn't need an alarm clock to be able to wake up early.

that's right, when I got used to get up at 5:00am with the help of the alarm clock,I could wake up natural at exactly 5:00am sometimes without alarm clock! Our body can remember what we usually do,which called habbits,as well as our schedule!

I wake up every morning around 4am. I don't get up right away, but just lie back and focus on my breath for a while as it enters and leaves my body. I then get up around 5:30am and begin meditation. I have been able just to think in my mind of what time I want to wake up for many years now, and always wake up at the time, and sometimes earlier. I don't go to my computer until around 9am though as I don't feel that computer work is good for me too soon. My day must always begin with meditation. Taking care of the mind, means that the mind will take care of Self. _Derek

It's really hard to wake up early if we wont be able to do it regularly. But if you set your mind that you have something to be done early in the morning. You might be adjust everything and go smoothly as you wish...

you have to sleep early than before, at least 8 hours before the time that you want to wake up. secondly, you must be relax and do not feel tired. because it makes you can't sleep well. thirdly sleep with facing to right side.

Eat an apple. I'm really not kidding. I find that eating an apple when I wake up in the morning does a much better job of keeping me awake than coffee. As for actually getting out of the bed, I set two alarms. One on my clock and one on my phone. Both of them are on opposite sides of my room and they go off two minutes apart. When my clock goes off, I have to get out of bed to switch it off. Before I can fall back asleep, my phone goes off so I have to walk over to turn it off as well. That's usually enough to wake me up, or at least wake me up enough to drink a glass of water which usually does the rest first thing out of bed.

I wake early because I have to go the cr for personal necessities. I have been like this since I was young. However, I could not remember when this started. I also have problem waking up before. When I was younger, I woke up and go to the cr, thereafter I went back to sleep and woke up late. But now, I wake up between 4:30 to 5:00 and never go back to sleep. If you really think that you have to wake up early, you can do it.

I use an alarm clock but mostly I am already awake before it rings. If you are motivated you will wake up. To be honest I don't understand your problem or why you don't put an alarm if you want to wake up.

Hey thanks a ton for posting this discussion. Talking about the person who automatically get up early in the morning, it is their habit to wake up early no matter even if they go to bed late. i would like to recommend u to put your cellphone or clock on an alarm by setting your desired time. This will definitely give u a wake up call early in the morning so that u can find time for mylot and exercise. What say?

As soon as your Alarm goes up. Jump or throw yourself out of Bed. Then jump and run to the Bathroom and throw freezing water on your Face. Works every time.

I understand there are people out there who have programmed their brain to wake up at certain hours on the day..It's really hard for me too to start my day early in the day.. I would suggest is to first to start going to bed a little early..Try to pick a time that is comfortable enough for you to start your day..Try to set your alarm clock 10 to 20 minutes early..Change the ringer on your alarm clock.-Pick a song that you really like especially from your collection of songs that will help you wake up..Make sure it's loud enough for you to hear it.. Ask your family to open your drapes or blinds for you in the morning. This will help you wake up..Maybe changing the temperature in your room might help also..

To wake up more early, try to think of something exciting you are going to do during the day to motivate you to wake up early. try to get yourself excited about what you're going to do or change something new!! Get into a routine at night that winds you down. Get a good night's sleep. Avoid drinking coffee or soda late at night. Gradually go to sleep 10 minutes earlier every day until you've hit your goal time. Don't go on the computer or play video games at least 2 hours before you go to bed. And remember some people have less sleep requirement so they can get by by sleep late and wake up earlier, but some people just can't, since we all have different sleep requirement, what works for one person may not work for another.

Getting up early is a good idea, as it makes you day longer! I don't have any special trick to doing so, but setting your alarm clock might be a good idea! It is a good idea having a project you can look forward to and that might motivate you to start working on your project!

Some people like to shower shortly after the alarm goes off, but I just splash water on my face, put on outdoor clothing and go for a walk. By the time I return, it is time for my morning pill and breakfast with the daily newspaper. Actually, since I'm retired, that morning pill is the main reason I have to get out of bed, but the early morning walk gets me invigorated and ready to do something with my day.

Waking up early means setting an alarm and getting up. If you have trouble doing that, put the alarm across the room so that you have to get up in order to turn it off. Most mobile phones have have an alarm feature as well. You can set both alarms a few minutes apart to be sure you get up.

How about this. Set ur alarm clock on your phone or have a friend call u at a certain time. I found that when I set my alarm clock at 6am I am still tired so I close my eyes for a bit and then it goes off again and I make myself get up! It really depends if I have to work or not. I'm on a work four off two or I was until they cut my hours :(. But when my daughter has to wake up for school I'm the one that wakes up and she gets ready for school and then I walk with her. Then when I come back home I can't go back to bed so I tity up my house and make coffee and cook breakfast. The aroma of coffee and food cooking squally wakes up my husband and daughter! Did u know this? If u sleep with ur phone under ur pillow(a smartphone) it's not good for ur brain. I read that in a Time magazine. When I read that I started to freak out because that's what I did. So now I leave my phone on my dresser so when it goes off I have to get up and walk to cut it off!

me either would not like to wake up early in the morning. if woke up early, i will be yawning throughout the day and this would make me look so stress. but there would be times that i need to wake up early in the morn more if an activity would required me so. by that my motivation to wake up early is the importance of what i am gonna day in the day and to do it, i will really set the alarm on my phone. i usually set advance ahead of the time so that i may awakened but those allowance of thirty minutes is my warm up. i maybe resting during that minutes a bit and would listen to my body if can get up already or else close my eyes but my system is already aleart. if really time to get up, time for preparation would be my next step. :)

I had that problem too before. I had to get up early to go to work, and I arrived late sometimes because I just couldn't get up early. I started using an alarm, either my cell phone or a clock, but I understood that I was unable to get up early because I went to bed too late. I think having a good rest during the day and going to bed early at night helps you get up early in the morning. Sometimes your organism just gets used to it.
