rotflmao Gerty that is a good one. Snow in Wichita, and we have tornadoes marching across Tennessee and kentucky tonight. They have not reached my area yet but sounds like they will in the next few hours.... Know any one selling a twister blower?

It would seem like a good marketing tool!

That is just too ironic and funny. I totally agree with you, it could be a record snow-blower sellout if they would have kept the show open. Maybe they closed it because too many of the vendors couldn't make the trip because of the harsh weather. Or maybe the place hosting it figured it would be pointless to have if half the vendors weren't there and attendance would be too low to make a profit. Whatever their reason it still sounds funny to me.

I am sure there is a valid reason , but it did seem funny.

LOL That is ironic for sure. Sounds like it should be a joke and not reality. How bad is your weather? We are supposed to get snow again tomorrow

We had "winter mix" last night and today, before the snow started. It is dry, pellety snow, and is blowing wildly. Some people are without power again. It depends on who you listen to as to how much snow we will get. It could be 2 inches, or 8. I will find out at 6:00 am if I get a day off of work.

When I started this discussion it was still up in the air about cancellations, but at 5:30 this a.m. our district was the first cancellation!! Yipee. I had to get up early, cause hubby has to work anyway, and this is his early morning. I am seriously considering going back to bed soon. I have this great urge to start cooking stuff, though.

Now that is funny. YOu would think that they would still have it to demonstrate the product. But, then again, if the roads were not good they would not have a good turnout either.

I think that would be the perfect time to have a demonstration, unless you were not too confident of your snowblowers ability.

Maybe that is the problem? Nothing can stand up to an oldfashioned shovel.

Yes, it's laughable.
It would like Aussies cancelling a surfing carnival because there was too much surf.
One wonders if snow blowers are really worth it!

No, not to this show. It was just in the crawl of announcements at the bottom of the TV screen. I like "Lawn Home and Garden" shows, and I have gone to a Log Home show that ended up not having log home people there, for some reason.
