Why Do You Hate Judge Judy?

I don't hate judge judy...yet on the other hand I cant be bothered to watch her either. She is all for show. I don't find her funny or fair or even smart. She is very self rightous and pompous. I watched her a few times and it is a ridiuculous waste of time. I do like court shows but not hers.

I do not hate her, I watch it occasionally and I think it is quite funny, and you are right she does not take no rubbish!

I don't really hate her. I used to like her, but there was a case where she got really nasty and showed no compassion towards a person at all. Basically, it had something to do with cat allergies. I think she asked someone why he couldn't move in with him Mom and he said he has a deathly allergy to cat and she made it like that was a sorry excuse. Well, I have an extremely bad allergy to cats that usually results in having me go to the hospital if I am around them for more than a few hours for asthma. My mom had a cat at the time and I could never live with her because of that cat because I could die from not breathing. So, I was totally turned off to her. I've also heard her say other things to people that showed an extreme lack of compassion and understanding. Other judges on TV don't seem to do that. So, I don't watch her anymore.

I don't hate her. Often I agree with her decision..in fact most of the time. I am put off by her constant irritation over everything. She's rude to people even when they are in the right. She seems a little holier than thou. I know it makes for good tv but I wouldn't want to have her as a judge in any case I was involved in.

I got a surprise when I saw her name on the Money list,She is above all the other Judges combined.

Yeah, I enjoy watching her but she is so darn mean! She reminds me of this one teacher I disliked in grade school. This teacher made me so mad! I just think that sometimes she is a little too mean and it just seems like she has seen so much crap that she is fed up with it and that's why she gets mean. I think maybe she just needs to retire already LOL...

I don't hate her I think she is good entertainment, funny sometimes but just sometimes she is very abrupt and rude to people and i think sometimes she makes a judgement on truth which i think might not be actual fact, I don't think she takes peoples nerves being in that situation into account with what ever she uses to judge on this...sometimes when it come to judging lies and truth well sometimes you just have to be there to know...

Are you kidding? I love her. She's really great entertainment, which is what it's supposed to be, besides hearing the cases. And I've seen her in interviews, and she's just the nicest, funniest lady you'd ever want to meet in real life. Remember guys, it's television.

Because she is so annoying. She tries to be so mad and tries to be so tough but she tries so hard it makes her seem dumb. SHe doesn't listen well and she is just abrasive to listen to.

Well I believe that it is all about her, it is her show and her name on it so she makes darn good and sure she rules, I can also understand that she can't tolerate stupid people that believe that she can have one put over on her. I hate it when people lie to me thinking I am going to either not make a fuss over it or say nothing, no so I am not stupid and resent people who think they can treat me as such. very likely the same for Judge Judy

I love Judge Judy, especially when she says "If it doesn't make sense then it just isn't true"! She is on the ball and can see right through all the fakes. I remember when she first came on TV she was doing a case about a diamond engagement ring and she mentioned that her husband never got her diamonds. Well she said that on TV and he must have felt like crap because now she is wearing a ring with diamonds all around it. Well he can afford it, he's a judge too - he was on People's Court for a while. Way to go Judge Judy.

I don't hate her I love her she is too funny and she really chews the hell out of the people who try to pull the wool over her eyes I think if she could she'd nueter some of the poeple who have been on her show. but she is a straight shooter and doesn't bend the law. Judge Milian Is like that on the peoples court. She is too funny.

i like to sit back and watch judge judy. she is a spi fire and no matter who you are you had better give her all the facts and don't try to lie to her because she can tell and she will let you know i would like to meet her in person

I like Judge Judy. She is one of my favorite judges. The reason is that she doesn't take any crap from anyone. She tells it like it is. Whether it hurts the individual or not. People need that. Also, in her court, she keeps order and they respect her.

I love Judge Judy. She's pretty harsh sometimes but then most of the people standing in front of her deserve all they get. Some of them are just so dumb! I don't think I would like to face her in a courtroom though, or if I did I would have to be 100% confident that I was right anyway. I can't understand what some people are thinking of when they go in front of her, they must realise they're going to get shot down in flames anyway. It's good to watch though lol.

I don't hate her I think she is very professional, talented and doesn't suffer fools gladly, she doesn't pamper to them, she tells them exactly what she thinks and speaks her mind, doesn't matter if it's rude, she has a nice way of putting it, direct like. The fact that my dad watches Judge Jury day in day out gets on my nerves, I'm sure he's seen some of the cases before, it's like boring! But does have a good sense of humour as well. I bet she is great to go out with socially, you could have a laugh with her.

I find her shows very interesting and watch them often. She was a family judge for 30 years before television and I think she knows the law really well. Sometimes I find her too abrasive. I don't like it when she mimics people or calls them idiots. Then on the other hand I would not air my personal troubles in front of 10 Million people. That is how many watch her show every day.

Erm ok then - there isn't any reason that I hate her sweety - I think she is great! She is shown twice a day on one of the channels here and I think she is great! She gets straight to the point, doesn't take any old flannel and the charm doesn't blind her! I like her straightforward no nonsense approach as well as the fact that she has no problem telling people they are talking rubbish or she knows they are lying! So me - I don't hate her! xxx

I really enjoy her program as she is so refreshingly honest and she calls it exactly like she sees it. I like her very much and wish we had more people like her as judges and other officals in law.She is a keen observer of human nature and she does not let anyone manipulate her in any way. shape. or form. Although I like her I would never say I know more about the law than she does for I sure don't and I do not understand why you would say that. Liking her does not make me any super intelligent person but I am an intelligent thinking woman who admires Judge Judy for her wit,her intelligence, and her just plain moxy and guts.

We get rather old episodes of Judge Judy and Judge Hatchett here in South Africa. But I find Judge Judy to be wonderful. She takes no nonsense and its like she sees right through faulty people! I guess we just love to hate her for been so harsh at times but the bottom line is, she knows what she is talking about and we sit and watch the two parties and somehow we sometimes feel sorry for the guilty party but the law is the law and we need to accept it.
