I buy and eat the frozen toaster waffles too. My husband and I like to eat them sometimes. I like to put them in the toaster and toast them. I take them out of the toaster and spread butter on them and them pour some maple syrup on them. That tastes really good. You may want to try that sometime also.

REAL MAPLE SYRUP, or the fake stuff?
I'm CANADIAN, and as you can see here is a maple leaf on my flag. Anyone serves me Aunt Jemima, or something like that, I'll let THEM have it! LOL

I rarely buy them. Most of the time if my son wants waffles I get out the waffle iron and make them. He gets them about once a week anymore. I usually do them with butter and syrup, but if they are the blueberry ones then my son eats them plain. I make a bunch and when he gets home from school he will grab a cold one and eat it too. He will kill off a whole batch of them before the day is through. That makes the frozen onces a little too expensive.

I've been looking for some recipes for homemade
waffle recipes. We are planning to get a waffle iron too.
Our daughter doesn't eat much syrup. That's her personal
choice. I would use syrup, but she doesn't like it.
But she loves the butter and honey and such.
I'm getting tired of the frozen ones too. They are way expensive
when you figure a family can go through a whole box in one morning.

We do not usually have frozen waffles on hand, but I will occasionally buy them. We just all prefer home-made waffles made on the waffle iron. Any which way, we eat them all sorts of ways from the basic syrup and butter to jam to fresh fruit. My favorite as a kid was to top them with butter and LOTS of pwdered sugar.

I'm afraid I'm pretty boring. i just put syrup on mine. The person who won the pillsbury bakeoff last year used toaster waffles as part of stuffed chicken and won the million dollar prize for that. You never know what people will go for.

I do not believe those things qualify as Waffles? I like the real thing made fresh. Ok, so I use Jiffy mix, but still! :)

I don't keep those around, but the odd time I eel like one, I'll just hae it with a bit o butter on it. Not margarine, but REAL BUTTER!! They might also be interesting with Danish cheese on them.

We keep frozen waffles on hand at our house. I love peanut butter on my frozen waffle. I have tried many other things but peanut butter is my favorite thing to put on waffles.
I have never tried the cream cheese on waffles before. I just might have to try that. Sounds good.

We usually have frozen eggos in the freezer. We like them with country crock and syrup on them. My kids sometimes will eat them with just country crock and butter no sugar on it. Cream cheese does sound like it would taste good.

I used to use these a lot, but now I make my own and freeze them and let the kids microwave them in the mornings.

We buy tons of frozen waffles when they're on sale. My kids love them. Frozen waffles is probably the first thing my sons learned to "cook":) I don't encourage a lot of syrup for them. Most of the time they just eat the waffle like toast. Maybe some butter, but really they are sweet enough on their own.
My younger son really likes peanut butter on his (he is finally getting more peanut butter on the waffle than on the counter). It sounds gross to me, but he even likes the blueberry waffles with peanut butter on them. Yummy...

We buy them in bulk so we always have them in the house. My youngest son loves Eggo homestyle waffles. He has to have them every morning. He likes them with butter and syrup, nothing fancy. But, under no circumstance, can they be burnt or he will not eat them. Well, he will eat the pieces that aren't burnt and leave the rest. :)
