I hope my income will be in fast lane and my life will be in gentle drive. I am still a student and I am trying my very best to make money online. I hope all my efforts will pay me and I will make money from fast lane to enjoy my life in gentle drive.

Girl I live in the slow lane but here i travel well over a 100 miles an hour.

I think at times we must be twins! I am exactly like you were. When I was young I lived life in the fastest lane on the road of life! Never home before 4:00 a.m. and get up in a couple of hours to work and then out again. I did this for more years than I care to count!

But the last few years I am definitely the countryside lane type. Nothing better than taking it slow, watching the world go by and definitely smelling the roses!

I tell my husband that he has 2 speeds: go like heck and sleep. Our life is definitely a rather curious mixture of the 2: life in the fast lane at times, then, a gentle drive on a rural road at other times.

In my younger years I was quite competitive, quick, and a workaholic. Now, I don't think a person would use any of those words to describe me. I find myself wanting to stay home more, taking it easy alot, and just generally hanging out at home.

Well I have always lived in the slow lane, but these days it is slower still.
I hate having to rush, so I just take things nice and easy.

I am a forty year old lady. But I don't think I ever lived life in the fast lane. I have always taken a more long and winding road approach in life. Yes, sometimes there is a rush to get things done. I just enjoy the scenery in my life and it works out better for me. I'd probably have to say a gentle drive is my approach now a days.

Recalling back my life from kids until now, It's always a gentle drive for me...Although life those time was hard for us since only one in the Fsmily has an income, but we manage to have another resources through hard work and cooperation of each member of the family..So, it was never a fast lane for us..

Even now, I would say, it is still gentle! There are moments that we have to work hard but we always take time to stop and feel around, feel the blessings and appreciate the beauty of life, even if it is challenging most of the time!

Mine has to be a bit of both & my mood reflects that.It can easily be picked up in my words & sometimes even actions.Slow is boring to me,i cant sit,stay, be that way if nothing is going on.Its then i go do multiple tasks...jumping on & off buses..running to places,returning..i know theres things to be done.Racing thoughts.
Should i shoudnt i.Back to sitting down,from where i am sat i can see part of Falkirk/Grangemouth.I have crossed that imaginary bridge many a time.A very long hard sprint to a place that is only there in my mind...some sort of adrenaline rush.
Then theres the complete STOP,nothing or no one exists.Its just me top o the hill
& nothing can or will tell me to come down.I guess its a mixture of running,walking,jogging,all at the same time.

Do You Live Life In The Fast Lane Or A Gentle Drive Out Along A Rural Road? when i was a teenager and in my early twenties, i felt the need for speed as well. lol these days, it is life in the slow lane. i never speed anymore, especially when i have my boys in the car with me. don't get me wrong, somedays, i am so busy i do not know what to do next, and other days, i sit around without anything to do at all. lol funny isn't it? but life in the slow lane is nice thou. i enjoy all of the days that i do not have to leave my house, especially when it is cold outside. and i couldn't think of any songs pertaining to life in the slow lane, so here is "Life In The Fast Lane" by the Eagles. crank it!

Mostly I am in the slow lane these days Ellie. However, my guilt about not contributing to the society that I put so much into over the years is such that occasionally I try a little fast lane driving. But the sports car that I used to drive is now a granddad car and, on a good day, can only give the illusion of keeping up with the sportier models. I watch the scenery go by and increasingly feel that I am not a part of it. I think soon I may stop altogether!
