How often do you serve left overs for dinner?

Last week we made a meat loaf and since it was big for the three of us, we had another portion of it the following day. I don't mind being served left overs either. I hate it when people throw away good food in the rubbish without even thinking of people who are dying of hunger.

Oh leftovers are served way more than that in our house. I cook for two meals every chance I get. Our schedule around here is everyone coming and going at different times some days, so stuff to heat up is appreciated. I also love leftovers for lunch at work, I've had them for breakfast too. And for instance, I like spaghetti way better the second day; the same with roasts and lots of stuff. Like you, by the end of the week, I like to use up stuff too. I use the plastic frozen dinner trays and make up meals with the leftovers.

I serve leftovers maybe once a week for dinner. A lot of the time leftovers end up being lunch the next day. Or, in the case of yesterdays dinner, breakfast. Other times I intentionally make too much so that we will have a leftover night.

Yes, we also eat left overs when there is a party or something like that.We don't want to throw away the delicious dishes. Sometimes I make delicious recipes from the left overs and everyone eats it lovingly.

I tend to graze on the leftovers in my house and try to let my wife and daughter enjoy fresher meals. I don't see anything wrong with leftovers, perhaps it is my upbringing.

i eat leftovers till they are gone. if i get real tired of them i freeze them & then make soup after i collect up a few. nothing better than a good pot of homemade soup.

Sometimes we will have leftovers the next day, If they aren't alot then I will make other things and just heat the leftovers up and that is what we usually do.

I do use left overs all the time. I do try to have something new at least every other day so we don't get tired of the left overs. So we have then about 3 times a week. some times I cook so we do have leftovers and try to get creative with them so they seem like a new dish..

I actually don't serve leftovers for dinner very often. If we have leftovers that is what I will eat for lunch during the week. It makes my day go faster and easier if I don't have to stop to make something for lunch. I still make stuff for lunch but I don't have to do it every day. When we do have leftovers we do it like a potluck. We get everything out and we all choose what we want and heat it up.

I do this also. Lately we haven't had any leftovers, so I have had to be creative every night to figure out dinner for every night. I actually love leftover night. It is so much easier to heat up leftovers and clean out the fridge than to make something different. The kids hate leftover night.

Sometimes if I have enough leftovers and don't feel like cooking, I will do that, but mostly our leftovers are the next day's lunch.

We don't really get any left overs in our house. Depending what I am cooking I try to cook for one more and then freeze it, not for a pot luck day but as my husband works the night shift he likes to take a hot meal to work with him and this way there is always a vary of meals in the freezer for him to choose from

Some weeks never, others 3-4 times. I usually try to freeze leftovers, but there are some days that I can't be bothered or really, really like something and it ends up on the table again. I almost always save leftovers for lunch, too.

Oh yes we do the left overs i cook all the time 7 days a week and get really tired of it,we dont out much.I love Italian food The Olive Garden is my favorite,but my husband does not like there food or Italian at all.So it is the same old thing all the time,left overs.

I probably serve leftovers about once a week also, usually by the time I get to Thursday or Friday, I run out of ideas for supper. So I start dragging out the leftovers and heating them up, I'm lucky that my husband doesn't care what I feed him, as long as he's got something to eat..lol.

During the week it's just my husband and me so we often reheat something that we cooked the night before. On the weekends we usually cook a bunch of stuff on the grill so we usually have leftovers from Saturday to add to whatever we're cooking on Sunday...and sometimes that carries over to Monday. We're very disorganized when it comes to dinner at our house.

Maybe about two or three times a week, my mom normally makes a lot of food because there are three teens in the house, and so the day after we might eat the same thing, but it's over the summer more likely that we eat leftovers in the middle of the day for lunch and maybe something else for dinner.
