$200 higher ELECTRIC BILLS: Durn AL GORE TO HECK! |
| |
| Yes, it is true. According to the monthly newsletter I get from my Rural Electric C0-OP every month, our electric bills could go as high as $200 per month higher! Why? Carbon legislation expected to be formulated and debated starting now and passed in 2010. What to do? Start off by going here. http://www.ourenergy.coop/ Follow the links, get more information, use GOOGLE to research the topic even more. Be sure to visit the link on how to contact your legislator. I say we are about to learn what the MAN MADE GLOBAL WARMING SCAM is really all about. Taking money from you! It is all a lie! What do you say? | | | | | |

| | I knew it was coming and it will only get worse! This is just another way to tax us. This will not get better. The funny thing is....... Global warming is theory! Thats right, nothing proven. I would love to see the proof that an extra $200 per month will save the planet. Gore is just another wack job!!! | | | | | | |

| | Indeed, Gore is a phoney besides being flat out wrong. I've even run the data analysis. Gore is not even close to being right. More and more scientists are having the courage to speak out about it. Here's hoping the power of the internet with its ability for us everyday folks to comunicate quickly, gives us the edge we need to defeat the upcoming legislation that will bankrupt us without saving anything. | | | |

| | I do experimental research in data analysis. Using that knowledge I got the figures for the earth's temperture and sea levels from a respected international source (Hadley Meterological Center UK). Then I did a synthesis and extrapolation on the data. I can not explain the methodology here. It is proprietary to me and beyond what would be reasonable to explain here. Here's my conclusion. A reasonable estimate for average temp change of the earth over the next 100 years is about 1/2 degree, maybe 1 degree but very unlikely. The sea level is likely to rise 1 or 2 inches, maybe. This is not catestrophic. It is a part of the normal cycle one would expect since the earth left an ice age about 12000 years ago and the glaciers are still retreating from that ice age. We are slightly warming. It is not man made. It is normal. The same will happen with the climate no matter what we do. You'd be very surprised how many scientists actually agree with me. You can see examples of my research applied to the stock market at my web page. You can get there thru my profile page. Long term climate change seems to be easier to predict than stocks. | | | |

| | You lost me at proprietary sir :) If your methods aren't published, how can they be assessed? Still, thanks for your response. | | | |

| | I have published 2 of my methods for the analysis of stocks. I have not published the method I used to do analysis of climate. However, that is not a problem. The analysis of the climate data is so straight forward and obvious that anyone with an undergraduate education in mathematics can do it using practically any commonly acceptable method. The results will be the same no matter which method is selected. There is nothing spectacular going on. I strongly urge you to get the data yourself. Do your own analysis. The data can be found using GOOGLE. This is not rocket science. | | | |

| | This is ridiculous! There are already so many people unable to pay their electric bills. My daughter's bill has been almost $400 the last 3 months! That is terrible. She's a single Mom of 4 kids and they have a rough time of it. I can't understand why they would let them up the price again, considering how the economy is and how people have been hit with loss of jobs. I went to the page and sent an email to our representatives. Don't know how it will help, but, at least, I did my little bit. And, there is NO Global warming! I think Al Gore needs to share his riches with the rest of us! | | | | | | |

| | I agree. Mine was over $350 last month and we aren't even at home during week during work hours. I would hate to see the bill if we were! Plus the coldest months are ahead of us, January and February! | | | |

| | We have a total electric house and ours was $192 which was smaller than last year. But we aren't keeping our heat up and we also use gas logs in the fireplace at times, which helps on the light bill, but uses lots of gas. My house is the same size of our daughter's, but she has 4 kids going in and out all the time - to work, practice, school, just outside, etc. It is just me and my husband here and we don't fan the doors all the time like kids do. | | | |

| | I'd love to see every politician have to live like normal citizens. They'd think twice before they did the things they do! The taxes don't bother them. They have the money. The gas prices don't bother them; they have drivers and probably an expense account to cover everything. | | | |

| | I agree, and anyone who believes this crap probably voted for the 0bamunist. That makes them all the worst person in the world and worse than Hitler. They think that somehow they are not going to be hit by the escalating prices caused this scam? If so, then they are every bit as ignorant and stupid as I think they are... | | | | | | |

| | It really gripes me about the stimulus packages! They want to give us $300 or so to stimulate the economy and then tax us to death! Put a 50% increase in taxes on the gas and then they bring the gas prices back up because of OPEC, and we might as well just quit! Groceries are out of sight already! I guess we are all going to have to have a garden for food, go to using candles for light, forget anything electronic, and get us a wood burning stove and heater for cooking and warming our home. We won't need a car because we won't be able to afford to buy the gas to run it! I'm with you, Red. He already has a LOW approval rating in my view! And it's getting lower every time I hear him speaking. I get upset with a stupid radio commercial one car dealer has with his voice here in our state! I have to change stations lots when I'm in my car! I have been very upset that he's talked more on television and radio since being voted in than the President. If we didn't know better, we'd think he was already in the Oval Office. This is the first time I ever remember a President elect having SO much to say before he's actually the President! | | | |

| | Ha, I saw this crap coming, Carbon Credit BS. Hey Red, most of em are still lapping it up, AND, dragging everyone else they can convince onto the band wagon, just like a religion. Can you see what they are changing, the brainwashing is done the same way, they are now programming us to be zombie bankrollers for them. They are making you pay for the air you are breathing. It wasn't all that long ago, the companies started talking about who pays what and how they can carry out their bizo based on the possiblity of this theory being correct. Now they are passing on their (Peter robbing Paul) costs to the rest of us. Pwaaaa, pretty cheeky. | | | | | | |

| | Hi Red, Is it time for people to invest in micro power generators such as windmills and solar. In Europe they have been doing it for years. Aside from the obvious i.e. eliminate energy waste. Here is a link to some possibilities. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yQ0MRzar88o | | | | | | |

| | I live in an area where this is feasible. My location is so remote there are no building or zoning codes. I can put up windmill towers, solar panels of all kinds, and whatever else I want without restriction. I'm giving it serious thought. | | | |

| | That's great. The economics can work out with government subsidies for CAPEX and buy-backs by the grid. The sweetener is the low interest rates.... lol. But all of this is quite fiddly and time consuming, therefore there needs to be a passion rather than pure economics. For people earning $30 or more per hour, they are unlikely to spend time dealing with this important contribution unless they are motivated by other considerations. Send me your address via PM and I will look for the windmill, solar panels and even a watermill on Google Earth! Cheers Red. | | | |

| | Right now, I think a lot of it is just fear and conjecture. No one really knows what is going to happen with this President and his new administration. Obama was promising everything and anything to get himself elected; but, he is already breaking a lot of his promises and he isn't even in office yet. So, we have no idea which ones he will keep and which ones he will break or just ignore. I do not feel the next 4 years are going to be good for the US; but, a lot of that is the fault of Bush and his administration. For now, we just need to wait and see what does happen and deal with it as things come up. Until a bill is actually introduced, there is no sense in starting off protests. In fact, protesting something draws the legislators attention to the topic; even if they weren't thinking about it before. That could actually initiate the very changes we do not want to see. | | | |

| | I don't know alot about the whole global warming thing except Hubby says it's a crock. I did read though that 0bama's plans for making us use less is to raise the prices so high that your forced to use less. It worked with the gasoline prices...the higher it went the less ppl drove. The same can be done with electric, propane, natural gas, gasoline, and even food. It's a way to control things. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG AND TRUST IN GOD** | | | | | | |
