|  I was looking at a picture taken from the recent gathering of the 5 living Presidents and I got to thinking... what would happen if they ran against each other?
Jimmy Carter
George H. W. Bush
Bill Clinton
George W. Bush
Barak Obama
We know it will never happen, and the elections are over so this dosent have to be some big contoversy discussion.
Lets just say we had to re-elect one of these Presidents for another term. Who would you vote for?
I'll start... I'm a Clinton fan. I know there are some people groaning right now but personaly, from my memory of his Presidency I remember good economic progress and a genuine effort put forth in our foreign policy, and a good image of America overseas.
So what about you? Lets have some fun!

Im doing great thanks :) Just kinda thinking about everything America has been through in my lifetime alone. I really liked the Clinton era. You cant give all the credit to any president who reigned over fortunate times... but he is a very good man. He deserves at least some :) | | | |

Thats good, Ahhh yeah ive thought about that kind of stuff before too lol. Though mostly in computers hehe. Yeah he does, wasnt all his doing, and well some bad stuff, but not as bad as my parents always said, who hated him, went to anti clinton meetings, meetings where they talked about how bad he was, hell even went to militia meetings lol, I actually went to a few and wow lol. But bush, he was put there by god and cant complain at all about him lol. Hmm ok with that reasoning, wasnt clinton put there by god too? | | | |

Only thing I really recall about Bush Senior is Desert Storm. I would vote for him abain befor I voted for his son. At least Desert Storm only lasted a few months.
I liked Clinton as a President, but I think I like him more now that hes not President anymore. I think he should get his own reality show. Like the Osbournes. | | | |

I've had enough Bush during my life (including both Presidents), Clinton still hasn't gotten enough bush, and Obama...well, I haven't seen him in action yet, so I'm not ready to re-elect him.

| |  I think of all the living presidents, I would pick Clinton. With the Republican Congress there were real checks and balances. He didn't get to do all he wanted but Congress didn't get their way all the time either. They balanced the budget! I never saw that coming. Clinton is Pro choice so that right was safe.They really got a few things done. What is funny, I don't think Clinton would have got as much done if he had a Democratic Congress.

I didn't vote for Clinton either time but looking back at things I think he would be my first choice with a few conditions, he lock Hillary up some place and keep her mouth shut and he didn't have Al Gore as Vice President. I think the ideal set up would be Clinton for President with George W. as Vice President. I think they would make one heck of a team. | |  I would re-elect Pres Clinton. He was a terrific president and did a lot of good while in office. He was also well respected by the international community. I don't think some one can hold that office without that respect.
