Have you ever found something that you had bought and forgot about?

No i have never forgotten about things i have bought. Usually the first thing i do when i get home is take everything out of the bags that i have bought to make sure they are away and that i know i have them. Even when i go on vacation and i come back i remember to always unpack the shopping bags first so i can put things away that i have bought. I'm a freak when i get home from shopping or on vacation because i want to know what i bought if i have forgotten and take everything out of the bags to see what everything was and i get excited when i do this. It's a relief for me to spend some type of money.

I found a bunch of shampoo taht I bought on a clearance. It was a good product its just that they were going to change the appearance of the packaging. I probably can last the rest of my life without buying shampoo and still have some left over. Too bad I can not take it with me1 LOL

Yes, i have! lol. I use to work at a retail store and would take advantage of the clearance sales, because i also got a discount. Green tickets were my favorite because they were usually 97 cents and my discount would make them 70 cents. I would buy clothes for the kids, hubby and me. One time i was cleaning some clutter that built up in one part of my room and there were 2 bags full of clothes that i completely forgot about. I love it when that happens. It's like finding treasure! haha.

hmm..SO far, none jill..I don't buy a lot of stuff often so when I have some shopping, I always remember them!

yes,it has happened to me many times.once i had brought some dresses for the kids,i had totally forgotten about it while attending to other family matters,i found it recently when cleaning my kids closet.

hi Jill that doesnt happen often over here but I forgot about a book I already owned. I had read it found it helpful and then lent it to a colleague. When she retired she gave back the batch of books I had given her and in the meantime I had bought that special book again to take with me when I go to rehab to keep me occupied in the evenings.

A case like this happened to me also. I was going over my "papers" to throw away those that I don't need anymore, I came upon an envelope and upon opening it, I saw a check which I have failed to encash. Although, it was not a very big amount, it tided me over to the next payday. There was one time also, I went over the "papers" again, when I ran out of cash, and what do you know? I found almost a thousand in paper money nicely folded in one of the little pieces of paper. I usually place paper money inside papers, and forget about it...lol...Thank God for small blessings.

yes I did today while having a clear up. 2 little presents I bought for my daughters birthda which has long since gone. One was a tiny weeny lipgloss and the oht==ther a mirror - both phone charms. So I gave them to her today but her phone does not have a "thingy" for attaching them, so I ended up using them myself

yes. i found a shirt in my closet the other day with the tags on it and i cannot for the life of me even remember buying it. i have no clue. and i do not shop alot either because we are strapped financially. it doesn't happen often though.
