Wrong Forecast

Hey kats! I think we pretty much had the same forecast! It didn't rain until last night, but it was cloudy all day yesterday too! And today it seemed much colder and really windy! The sun was in and out and even though it was in the mid-fifties it felt alot colder with the wind blowing as hard as it was! I was in the next city up from where I live and it is always colder there! I honestly was really uncomfortable and couldn't sit outside which I had planned on doing. All I can say is I hope that they have gotten the forecast right for the next few days! I'm waiting to see the temps get into the 80's!

It is 70 outside today and pretty, a little sunshine, 30% chance of rain. But my husband says he can tell the weather better than the weatherman can now! They often get it wrong here. They say rain and we look on the weather map and there is no rain within thousands of miles of us or none on there at all!

Yesterday was supposed to be a high of around 70, but it was closer to 80. Today it is supposed to be some sunshine with a thunderstorm or two possible this afternoon. High 79F. Winds SE at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of rain 30%. It is 53 degrees outside right now though. My son got to wear shorts to school yesterday and he will today as well, but I am making him take a jacket. If it really is nice out today then I plan on getting some running around done and after school the kids will get to go outside and play.

It's beautiful here today, but cooler than the past few days so i think we may have rain on the way. I rarely check the forecast, but when I do I've learnt that our weather tends to be a day behind the forecast.

It's suppose to be in the mid 60's today and sunny. So far it's sunny but it's cold outside. It's suppose to be in the low 80's for the weekend and we will see if they are correct. So far this week the weather man has been correct.

It is actually really nice outside this morning. The mornings and evenings are usually pretty nice in the spring, it is during the day that it gets miserable and hot. Since we live in S. Florida the weather forecast is wrong or way off alot!!! In the spring if they say it is going to rain most of the time it doesn't. In the summer if they say slight chance of rain then we have downpours for hours. The weather can be very strange here...at least once or twice a year you can look out one window in our house and it will be raining and if you go to the other side of the house and look outside there is no rain at all...or it will be raining across the street but never rain on our house. During the summer sometimes it rains and there is hardly any clouds in the sky, it could be just as hot and sunny as ever.

sometimes it'll be dismaying to all of us..because there are times that we are supposed to go in a very special occassion then we postponed or get rid of ourself not to go there because of this wether forecast to think that it will gonna happen and to happen that it is a wrong forecast.

Oh they are always wrong out here with the weather forecast. It really is a mess. What I do is to keep an umbrella in the car because our rains can be very heavy and to get caught in rainfall can be a problem. Ther weatherman said that today would be very gusty with high winds and showers. At present, it is as hot as you know what with no wind or showers.

Here in Canada we have a "Take Your Kid To Work Day". When I was in Grade 9, for mine my dad got me into the weather office at his work for part of the day. So I asked a couple of the weather guys how often they are right. They told me that weather forecasters are only right about 75% of the time, but that they were right 90% of the time. I still lean more towards the 75% or even less some days. They were forecasting rain for here on Monday this week and we still haven't got it, not like I wanted it to come true.
