Cheney Still Trying To Call the Shots Even Though He Has No Power To Do So.

Its almost as if he was the former president that just left the White House the way hes being critical of Obama. I have heard before with how much he was involved in decisions while Vice President it seemed like he was more the President than Bush. One thing I did like about Cheney is when somebody was trashing him in front of a whole audience he said something I probably should not repeat on Mylot. Let me just say in another way he told the guy to go stick it but in a more vulgar way but the person had it coming in my view and Cheney said it with no regrets.

I have no respect at all for D!ck Cheney, he didn't have the balls to fight for his country in Vietnam, he felt he was to important to go to war. But, had no problem lying to the American people to persuade them into invading Iraq. To this day, D!ck has acted like one when he is questioned about his statement that Saddam took part in 9/11. No one with his security clearance has backed him up, and the 9/11 commission found NO connection between Saddam and the 9/11 attackers. But, D!ck still won't admit that he is wrong, because he could never be wrong about anything. I am very happy to see that he has no power now, and I hope that he never again has the ability to influence our government. Goodbye and good riddance.

"I have no respect at all for D!ck Cheney, he didn't have the balls to fight for his country in Vietnam, he felt he was to important to go to war." Well Obama didn't have the balls to serve his country either. Bill Clinton was a draft dodger and that didn't stop him from sending out troops into an illegal war in Bosnia. "But, had no problem lying to the American people to persuade them into invading Iraq." Ok, I hear this all the time from liberals. Bush lied, Cheney lied, blah blah blah... Show me proof that they lied. No blogs, no DailyKOS, Media Matters, ThinkProgress garbage. I want clear, authoritative sources showing that Bush and/or Cheney lied and what specific lie or lies they told.

They still can't find any evidence between 9/11 and Saddam. The reason for the Iraq War was based on paranoia more than anything.

Taskr, Barack Obama has never been served a draft notice, D!ck Cheney did, and fought it will of his might. Why is that? You are correct that Bill Clinton acted just like D!ck and dodged the draft, the only difference is that D!ck used his politcal power to get around it (just like he has done most of his life). I do no agree with either Clinton and Cheney's choice not to serve the country. I don't have to prove anything to you Taskr, if you want to look up the facts than do it youself. If you are not intelligent enough to read the paper, or look at a website than I don't know what to tell you. I am sure if you look up Senate intelligence committee report about 9/11 you will see that your republican friends couldn't find a connection, you will also see that the 9/11 commission couldn't link Saddam directly to 9/11 either. But, Cheney continues to this day say that Saddam was a part of 9/11, and assisted the 9/11 terrorist. There is absolutely no proof to this, and republicans have millions trying to find the link.

Cheney is irrelevant at this point. I don't know why his opinion matters any more. The republican party would be much better off if they would cut ties with people like him and Rush Limbaugh. Unfortunately for them, it doesn't look like they are going to do that any time soon and that will hurt them until they do.

You can't "cut ties" with people. Political parties don't excommunicate people. You can't just say "Hey, we don't want you anymore, you are no longer able to call yourself a republican". It just doesn't work that way. As for Rush Limbaugh, half his listeners are democrats who just love to listen to people they hate. I can't help but laugh at people who think they are "spying on the enemy".

Maybe the Dems should "cut ties" with the likes of Rosie O'Donnell, Alec Baldwin, Jeanine Garaffalo, Keith Olberman, and all the other far left nut cases then!

Freedom of Speech. Hey it's his right as an American and I am glad that he did speak out about the release of the advance interrigation documents to provide the other half of the story. I don't think Bush should be keeping so silent but it's his way. Now don't jump on me here I didn't vote for Bush or care for Cheney but I will stand up for a persons right to speak up for what they believe in... and Cheney feels the same way a lot of American's do right now... angry and scared with Obama's policies and actions.

In any intelligence operation you operate n pieces of information and you try to put the puzzle together with out knowing what it is suppose to look like. The CIA gets millions or reports every day and much of it may make no sense at all. Mr C from Iraq was in xyz city. Mr Q, a suspected terrorist was in the same city at the same time. Ten years ago Mr Q was trained in a camp located in Iraq. Mr Q travels to several different countries over the next 3 months. Mr. A travels around Europe for several months being in the same cities as Mr. Q at the same times. Mr B is seen with Mr A in London and with Mr Q in Paris. Mr B is next seen in Indonesia where he stays in a hotel that during his time there Mr. F and Mr C and Mr N and Mr S all stay for a couple of days at different times in the same hotel. Mr S is seen in Japan, Mr F is seen in New York and Boston and in several small airport in New England. Mr N is seen in Washington DC. Mr S is also reported but not confirmed to have been seen in the Philippians. Mr Q is reported on a flight to Somalia but not seen on the ground. All of a sudden 9/11 happens, you have a shoe bomber flying out of London, you have flight from the far East turn around with a suspected hijacker on board, you have a terrorist attack in Indonesia and a uprising in the Philippians all occurring with in a couple of years. A CIA Analyst starts to piece together the different pieces and draws the conclusion that Mr Q is the common link and he has had contact with high level officials from Iraq. Now Mr C, form Iraq is again in the same city at the same time as Mr Q. What do you do? If you are wrong you will be accused of lying to the American people, if you are right and do nothing the US may get attacked again. What do you do? It is easy to say after the fact what we should have done, it is much more difficult to make the decision at the time base on incomplete information.

I think you're referring to when the then V.P. told a U.S. Senator to "go f*** himself"? That was REAL classy! I don't think I'm alone in saying I wish the D1ck would just crawl back into his hole in an "undisclosed location". He's not doing anyone any good with his divisive talk. Annie

yeah that was awesome when he said that as the other guy had it coming. the other guy was trying to trash him in front of the whole audience. theres nothing better when a politician just tells it like it is straight out with no political spin of any kind.
