Do you make regular visits to the dentist for a routine check-up?

How true that is! Like you, I know I should go to the dentist every six months for a check-up but I only go when I have a problem. I don't have any dental coverage so it is very costly to go to the dentist. I do try to take good care of my teeth but I know we can never do the job quite as well as the dentist. i know that is the rule but whenever i think of drilling machine and the sounds that the drilling machine make,i start to shiver,i visit the dentist,only when the pain in my tooth becomes unbearable!!

NO, because I have a healthy teeth and never miss a brush even though am at work. it's every important that you take your personal hygiene in teeth very seriously because once it's been taken out, it can never grown back again. we shouldn't be afraid of the dentist since they help us with our teeth.

i did go for regular dentist check-up, but not half a month, only one year once, not only check up, also to brush and wash my teeth

I visit my dentist once in a 3 months and when ever I get pain in my teeth I jus call him and ans for a solution. i prefer to call him because he is very famous dantiest in that area so I think every people go to his clinic only for any teeth problem. So thats why I never go to his office due to heacy rush and always prefer to get solution on call.

There is a need to visit regularly,, so we must do it,,it's for our benefit

Anything that is related to medical, I avoid as far as humanly possible, although I have to go for dialysis treatment three times a week and see the doctor often due to medical condition. I only go for medicals when I absolutely have no choice.

As for dentist, they always find something wrong so I rather not go, that way nothing is wrong. If I have to go, I will but only to save my teeth.

well it like that for me too, actually i even dont remember when i last visited a dentist, i think it was many years back. i dont have any oral problems so i dont need to visit a doctor. my father who is a doctor himself always suggest that i should visit a dentist once in six months but i always disobey him . .well i only brush once in a day and still im not having any cavity or so, but i think i will be needing to visit a dentist so that i can solve one of my birth born problem with one of my teeth, it is not in proper lining so i want to make it proper,so a recent visit would be made.

It is quite true! I go every six months because I have finally found a really good dentist who checks and cleans my teeth and doesn't recommend unnecessary treatment. Every other dentist would always recommend hundreds of dollars of treatment which my current dentist says is not necessary.

I used to go to the dentist regularly but since my dentist transferred to the north which is an hour and half away from my place, i don't get to vist her often.. yay! in order to maintain healthy teeth, i brush three times a day and gargle with mouthwash..
