Do you travel with first aid kit? |
|
Hi mylotters:) Do you prefer to travel light or do are you more secured with having a first aid kit while traveling? Personally I don't bring with me a first aid kit because it adds up to the weight of my baggages so instead I bring with me my rosary and I feel more secured with it;) of course my camera and mp4 player to enjoy the trip;)

1. smartie0317 (1141) | 7 months ago | I have a first aid kit at home, but don't bring one with me when I travel. That's actually a good idea. When I get some cash, I'll invest it in a smaller kit for travel purpose. I also take my rosary with me when I go places. Unfornately, when I changed it into another purse a few days ago, I saw it broke.

4. Ingkingderders (1068) | 7 months ago | Around 3 years ago, while we were at church, my dad missed a step near the parking area, and he banged his head in the road.. He smashed his glasses and got a cut in his nose.. We were in panic because we didn't have a first aid kit in the car.. After that, I bought first-aid kits for our cars, our house and our apartment.. And it was really a big help.. You'll never really know when you'll need a kit like that. When I travel to far places or I commute, I always have a small bag for medicines and band-aids.. And that helps too.. you'll never know when somebody needs something.. And with my little bag, I have helped a lot of people.=)

5. thanusha85 (336) | 7 months ago | I would only bring along with me paracethamol incase if I get head ache and apart from that I would not carry along with me a first aid kit. Always confident that I will be able to get it if anything goes wrong. By the way, Thanks for post, i got a strike in my mind on how important is it to travel with a first aid kit.

6. johnnyg456 (225) | 7 months ago | I've never traveled outside the states before. So I've never had to take any first aid kits with me while i am traveling. However, I do have a first aid kit at home. But I guess if I traveled, at least once every six months, I wouldn't take a first aid kit. I don't think I know anybody who does take a first aid kit. IF you travel by plane, I would think they would have their own first aid kits, so in case you do have some sort of injury they would help you.

7. dreamr802 (755) | 7 months ago | We never bring a first aid kit with us because usually where ever you go you aren't too far away from a pharmacy of some sort. I of course bring my medicine with me or like aspirin because when I travel by air I get ear aches and sinus problems. But other than that, I don't buy a first aid kit. I don't even have a first aid kit at home, just some band aids and neosporn...but then again it's only my boyfriend and I. When we have kids I bet I will have a first aid kit around.

8. maezee (4295) | 7 months ago | Shamefully - I don't. I probably should. I don't do much travelling, and I'm pretty careful when I do - so it hasn't been necessary as of yet. But I think it's a great idea, especially if you have the room & especially if you're driving.

10. revellanotvanella (1946) | 7 months ago | Well my first aid kit is like 12 years old, came with my old 87' mercedes, does that count? No really, I have used it once when I cut my finger and I was shocked to open it and find band aids still in good condition. It fits into a little compartment under the back window. If it was not for this car having one I would not have really considered having one in my car until, probably, it was too late. I found the waterproof take the most useful.
