The Smart Brain...

I've tutored and it's very challenging. I wish I was tutoring now. I have tutored various Elementary subjects plus test taking for civil service jobs. Most people don't ask me until it's too late. 3 weeks to a full year test, 3 weeks to the end of a semester when they're falling very badly. I really wish someone would ask me at the beginning of a semester.

Hi twoey...I have tutored people for various things - I was always taught that if you know one and someone else knows two then you should share your one and that person should share their two. Obviously you have already done that with your mother and I think you are wonderful for sharing with her!

you have not wrote what actually you are doing for yourself. where your smart brains have taken you to. or what benefit has accrued to you-except for the payment of turoring you mentioned in the end.
I am also almost like you. I have helped many people within the family and friends circle to write their essays, prepare their theses, face interviews, etc.
but now i sometimes wonder, have i not done some disservice to myself if whole life is devoted to helping others and planning for others and in the meantime neglecting our own self. i hope you have better luck and are surrounded by good frinds and family. but sometimes i feel as if i have cheated myself. the same people i had helped a lot,sometime losing my nights sleep also are now cold shouldering me now that they are not in need of anything.
so i feel people who are brainy should also be smart enough to protect themselves from being over exploited by others

I have never tutored anyone but my family thinks I am pretty smart. My best subject was math, never was that good in English, all the rules and stuff, but I can write pretty good when I put my mind to it. I use to love to read but with these bifocals it is not as enjoyable as it once was. It is good that your friends and family have you to help them. Happy myLotting and God Bless!
