Has the Palin family been treated badly? I've heard a couple idiots with bad jokes (and they were called out on them by the press), and I remember the Far Right morality cops coming after Palin for her daughter's life choices, but the mainstream media has been pretty quiet until this latest publicity stunt. As for President Obama's girls: they have been removed from the spotlight as much as possible. If they start to get out on their own, I'm sure you'll get your wish.

Are you living under a rock? The incompetent press came out with a story saying that Trig is actually Bristol's baby, but Palin faked a pregnancy to cover it up.

Spall, NO mainstream media outlet reported or repeated the vicious story about Trig. From what I understand that was started by one sick online blogger. The first I'd ever been aware such stories had existed was when I read it here on myLot after Bristol's pregnancy had been announced. Annie

Which main stream media outlet was that, Ted? It's been a while so my memory as to exactly who reported that.

The press core is one evil entity that has no class and bounderies IMO It takes a real man or women to mess with one's kids no matter the party.

Four, ever listen to right wing hate radio? The same group that called Obama a muslim terrorist, and said that he was going to convert the country to Islam? The same people that did the very same thing to Chelsea Clinton. Do you consider them to be "one evil entity that has no class and bounderies"? I do.

Been listening to talk radio for years and funny how I never heard anyone say Nobama was going to convert everyone to muslim? LOL, Let me guess it was Rush!! Secondly you wanna talk about his muslim roots didn't he all of the sudden become proud of them when He was on his Bash america first tour??? If they bash Obama's daughters then sure they're evil but so far nothing compares to the treatment of Palin's kids.

Four, they bashed the Clinton's daugher didn't they. Even McCain got in on the fun, and yet no one on the right attacked either. It must be that you can only be upset when it is a REPUBLICAN who has their children attacked.

I suppose that one would have to wait until one of the Obama girls is old enough to rebel against daddy saying that children are a punishment and run off and elope or get pregnant just to spite him. I suppose Bristol did the same thing when her parents said to wait until marriage and decided not to "because we are in love." It does not matter if one is in the public eye. And Sarah was not to blame for Bristol's pregnancy nor for herself having a baby with Down Syndrome and letting him live. Quote from anti-unborn imperfect baby crowd" *Horrors! I mean how dare she? She should have killed it!" Of course if she did, then that would have provoked another reaction from the handicapped and disabled who would have assumed that she was against them. So from what I hear Sarah is to blame because her daughter got pregnant, she had a Down Syndrome baby, she home educated her children, she entered politics, etc. Sounds as if it is sour grapes and perhaps she entered politics because there was no one else available who would work as hard. But no matter what happens, if the Obama girls decide to rebel against daddy, or decide to run around, dress crazy, go on motor bikes, go Goth, the press will still consider them little angels because no one is allowed to say anything against the Obamas.

Yeah, the incompetent press gave Obama a complete pass when he said that kids are a punishment.

"Quote from anti-unborn imperfect baby crowd"*Horrors! I mean how dare she? She should have killed it!"" Show me where ANYONE ever said that! Also, Obama never fricking said kids are a punishment, but you already know that, don't you? Annie

"Also, Obama never fricking said kids are a punishment, but you already know that, don't you?" Of course not. He said BABY'S are a punishment. We have to make sure we use the correct wording here. "I don't want them punished with a baby" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GbZJYWjkAPo

I seem to remember Obama's kids being brought up on stage when he was running, but when you need a puppet you don't open your mouth. I seem to remember you making a rude remark in a topic you started on here about them. When anyone running for office or anything else in fact, is it too much for you to act like an adult, if you have to ridicule the person running then so be it, but damn leave the kids out of it. It take a really low life to make a statement about a child. Obama's time is coming, I assure you, and he won't like it but don't see him making any remarks to stop doing this to Palin. And as I read through some of the responses you got, it appears to me that there are a bunch of people that are so jealous of this woman, or is that afraid of what she might do once she was in Washington, I bet a bunch of the cr*ap going on right now would not be happening. Yes I agree when you run for office you are putting your whole life out there, but the cowards only pick on the kids, they are not able to defend their selves. Things are getting worse instead of better, and believe me when they start on Obama it won't be pretty. His being president, I guess gives him a right to stop it against his kids but not against others. You don't see much of Obama's kids cause she has her face plastered all over every mag and paper you see. I don't like her and I dont' like him so I could care less what they do, I know he is running us in the ground and people too blind to see it.

From what I have read here on Mylot, expect it pretty soon. The question has already been asked, "how come it's okay for the republicans but not okay for the democrats?"

I think I would probably laugh. It would be a change to see the press treating all of the people that were in the election arena as equals for once.

I think bloggers should go after the families of the imcompetent press the way they've gone after the Bush twins and Palin's family.

Ted, I thought long and hard about whether I should bother responding to this and subject myself to another vicious assault from you. Obviously, against my better judgment here I am. I'm just SOOOO sick and tired of reading about poor Sarah, the mistreated victim! Clearly, when it comes to anything about the Palin's anything but glowing praise is seen as an attack and nothing the press - with the possible exception of the Fake News Network - says or does will ever be seen as anything BUT incompetent by you and others like you. What would YOU like the press to do to President Obama's little girls? They're not old enough to date, they probably don't even pick their own clothes to wear to school! Now tell me what the press has done to terrible to the Palin family; I mean the entire press as a group, not just a lone blogger who tried to start a vicious rumor or who wrote a sick article making fun of the mentally challenged. Let's see, what have I heard from the press about the Palin children... I know the oldest son in currently serving in Iraq; I hardly consider that being an attack, for it to be reported that a candidate's son is serving his country. I know that Bristol became pregnant at 17, she got engaged, she had a baby boy, she broke up with Levi and then she became an activist for abstinence. I learned all of these things from Sarah or Bristol themselves, not from the incompetent press. I know Trig, the youngest, is a special needs child with Downs Syndrome. I also got that information directly from Sarah. I know next to nothing about the other two daughters. I've seen them with their parents several times but that's about it. People on the right got a big charge out of bringing Willow up following David Letterman's tasteless joke but that wasn't the incompetent press's fault unless you're now calling the right-wing media "incompetent" since either they or Sarah and Todd Palin themselves brought Willow into that equation when the could have easily voiced their displeasure at a very bad joke clearly meant to be about Bristol without mentioning the younger daughter. Those who brought Willow into it are incompetent child abusers, how do you like that, but it wasn't David Letterman or anyone from the "liberal" media! There are good people, there are bad people and there are incompetent people in every walk of life and that includes the right, the left and the press. How would I react if the Obama girls were treated as "bad as the Palin family has been treated"? If one of them becomes pregnant at 17 I don't doubt that the press will report on it and talk about it. I can't think of another example right off the top of my head that would apply, can you? Annie

In spite of my instinct to say "what goes around comes around," I would still be horrified such attacks would be brought by the MSM against innocent children, whomever their parents are. I wish they would treat such behavior by the MSM as child abuse just the same way they would treat someone trying to abduct a kid off the street. Hopefully that would put an end to it.

It is child abuse, and liberals love it.
