i can say that you are brave,when things are not done at the right time it can get worse,anyway such arrogant people should be getting more than this atleast once in a lifetime they should know,even i encountered myself of such people but the best thing i do is ignore them but if things get messy,i would surely dare to speak what they deserve.

well for me if something like that will happen when i walk away she can yell till she gets red in her face and it wont bother me because i am hearing impaired... .

seriously... if that kind of situation would happen when i was younger i would have folded in her presence and gotten scared. but not now that i got older. with all the troubles i've been through trying to please people, no way, i will never let anyone do that to me, like i care if she is the daughter of whoever most famous personality or official, that does not give her the right to yell at me.

THat is one of my pet peeves.....people that think so highly of themselves and treat others with disrespect....if she went back to her room and told on you I hope her parents are smart enough to give her the what for...she had no right to talk to you like she did....I would have probably made a comment back too!

WOW!!! What a great answer Cynthi,. I love it, good for you. I can't stand people that feel their importance when they don't have any. I want to remember that in case i hopefully get a chance to use it. I'm sooooo proud of you. She had no right to talk to u like that or be complaining when she was just a guest. I am sure I am going to remember this for a while and it will keep me laughing. You know I am curious as a cat to find out just which of our politician's daughter that was right.

Love the response. Imagine if it was her property or her family's. At least she got a response. I would not have acknowledged her at all. I am getting good at that when I come across rude people. It makes them mad when they are ignored as if they weren't even there.

That's rude. If I am in that situation, I am not sure how exactly I am going to react.That is so great of you to suggest that she needs medical attention.I have such an experience when I processed my Income Tax, and there was this 1 employee who entertained us,I was actually inquiring what are the requirements in applying as head of the family, then she referred me into someone that is actually not in line with what I wanted to know.I think that was the auditor,then she started explaining about the computation of my tax, that I do not ask though.Then she asks me to get a form,from that first employee I talked about, and I do not hear clearly what form it is, I confirmed to a friend who is also with me if what form is it,then she told me,it is ID form.So I went back to that first employee and ask for the ID form, she laughs at me and started telling me that there is no ID form in their office,her voice is loud that all people in the office heard what she just said, then she told me, I look beautiful yet so deaf.I was really embarrassed that i nearly cry. Then they started laughing at me, all in the office and some people who are also inquiring got pity of me.So I just went outside and cried.I never expected that thing can happen.It is as if I was belittled,and I found no strength to defend myself.

Yeah people can't be so rude upon those who are not in their authority...

And that thing "Don't you know who I am". is quite famous one...I have heard it people saying many times.

Like we will be fined if not wearing a helmet on the road, but a govt. officials son or daughter would not be fined...Just they would say...Do you know who I am? or Don't you know who my Dad is?....

It just makes my bones burn...I feel like taking out a gun shooting right at their head....

Well they are not the ones God has created with anything extra!!!!

Knowing me, I probably would have said, "I'm sorry, but I don't know who you are." Or, I might have said, "No, I sure don't. I'm sorry". Or, I might have just stood there and stared at her before saying anything. You're absolutely right. She had no right to yell at you that way. Just because she's the daughter of a politician doesn't mean that she has to be so arrogant. No, I wouldn't have accepted her rudeness. Kathy.
