I Want To Restore My Computer To Its Original State....

Hi There,

Here i give my idea of restoring windows to earlier state.

Running System Restore

If you can boot Windows:

Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore. Click the Restore My Computer to an earlier time, next.

If you cannot boot Windows:

Boot into safe mode. Click the System Restore link. Click the Restore My Computer to an earlier time, next.

Note: Current documents, files and e-mail are not affected during a restoration.

Undoing a Restoration

Reversing Restoration if you can boot your computer:

Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore. Click "Undo my last restoration", next. Click Ok to the
screen message after the reboot.

Reversing Restoration if you cannot boot your computer:

Boot into safe mode, follow the help screen and choose, "Undo my last restoration".

Note: If you have chosen the wrong restore date, follow the steps under, "Undoing a Restoration".

It sounds like your carrying a full load of either viruses, malware, spyware, or just plain badware. There are some freeware programs that can clean the crap. My favorites are Avast, Windows Defender, and Lavasoft. (Windows Defender requires a legal copy of Windows that it can verify.)

If your infection is bad enough, these three will not do you much good, and as I don't know what version of Windows your dealing with, I can't help you further.

If you know what your doing, you can reformat the hard drive. You would otherwise have to take your machine to the shop and have the repair man attend the matter.

GO to accessories>system tools>restore-- a wizard is opened>select the date when you think it was working fine
these are some simple steps to restore your computer

my desktop has the restore built into it. Makes it convenient. you don't need a disk.

see if you can get hold of a copy of your operating system i.e vista or xp, ( they can be loaded from torrent sites)
normally your serial number sticker should be on your unit, this will restore your sytem to basic settings with nothing else on!

to restore your computer to its original state.. go to my computer, search: System restore, then start that up and it should bring up dates to restore it back to, click on the one that is farthest back in dates. Wait for it... sometimes it takes a long time, then it will be back to that date!

You should make some backups on your hard disk before you take this procedure as in other cases it could eat up a longer time to get everything back to normal. In most ways you should press the F8 function key if a problem occurs. Usually the best method is if you reinstall your OS with its programs from the beginning.

The most effective way to boost up your computer is to format your disk and reinstall the windows system. You have to backup the data you need before that. Don't forget!!! I usally backup my operating system by using the dos-based application "Ghost" which is very popular among computer users immediately after I install a new operating system and all the necessary applications. When my computer gets very slow and no way can fix it, I usually restore it with that backuped file to a healthy state. It's very convenient and it only takes a few minutes. I highly recommend that day.
