I stay with my flatmate and after long day's of work we both do not like cooking but we have to. So we do it half heartedly as we have to do it. But say on weekends as I have full time I like cooking new new dishes.

I used to learn at least two recipes from that particular state/region and add it to my cuisine. This way you get to learn a lot of new recipes which pleases the family.
