setting your standards too high would end you up with nothing..right?

It may work at times but it depends on how good you can handle those standards.

there's always an expcetion to everry rule...thats why we are given free will and flexibilty......

YEah, standards are for us to set, as long as we are not being overly ambitious, trying to reach for the sky, in just one step.. haha=D

There are always stages to things and we need the patience to have a perfect ending^_^

it's okay to want certain things in life... and want more..we're just human...

as long as we dont make it the source of our unhappiness if we dont get what we want...

i would say that im in between i guess it depends on how im feeling that day

let's look at the different sides of pleasing people, our selves, and them to us... humans are having these ego, super ego, and conscience--the basis of our actions. we may act like we are pleased, yet, our selves do know it's not enough; some would rationalize that they do feel please so they would say they are easy to please.... that's a good thing, but the question is: in what way?! hence, we do have different experiences and different status in life, these factors affect our perceptions in life, which affect also how we are to be please, to please and to get enough. hhmmmm..... but anyway, where your choice may be--it's the thing that could please yourself either. in one way or another.... haha! but i say, everything on earth will just fade away.

i put forward a personality that i am tough to create a certain standard or distance or caution from others...

but ugh..i cant help it..i have so much of my sweet side...

I alwyas have this ready smile on my face... so what do you expect? lolz

lol.We are the same though.And we often get the impression "HARD" in the first place.And most people think we are not that approachable but if they only knew.

people may tend to have the impression that i am snobbish or strict at first...but it doesnt take long for them to feel comfortable with me........

. . . you both sound like me lol . . . i have always thought of myself that way, i am hard on the outside, some people who don't know me think that i am a mean person coz i just look that way from the outside, only do they talk to me do they know that i am not like that, i am just a little sensitive person and it is just the hard shell covering the soft core inside . . . well that is only if someone meets me in person not online

it's good here in mylot..we get to know the deeper you right away..

i guess that's one benefit of this...

we can't be there physically... yet we can be our true selves!

exactly the same case with me, all my friends say i have actually always have been quite a simple and easy going quiet person, only just the first time they met me they had thought i would mean and all but .... hehe

I completely agree with you. I often wonder how my kids will turn out. They have nearly everything. Will they still want to work hard and strive to achieve higher goals? Or will they be contented with just the way things are? Makes me rethink my parenting skills.

there's nothing mroe any parent could want in life than to be sure there kids would be alright when we cant be aorund for them anymore.........

As a woman myself,i say Woman hard to please...really.....of course we are. Woman want to feel love and appriciated.If your feeling insecure about this all, tell her how your feeling and see if you guys can work it out. If you continue to live on like this it will bottle up and thats not good. Tell her before something happens.

I have the cheapest mobile phone..while my son uses a phone 5 times worth than mine...

I have a nice phone too, but i just keep it in my locker coz i think it's too complicated to use..........lolz

Speaking of mobiles, guess where mine is? I left it in Thailand, while I'm here in Australia for my two years!
