Under the stimulus package a loan has been make to a company to develop a green car. This will create new jobs while showing the world that a green car can be built. PROBLEM 1. The car is being built overseas in Finland so the get the new jobs. 2. It will be a sports car priced at $89,000. 3. The company that is a major backer of the project is a company that VP Gore is a big investor in. We are paying the Fins to develop a green sports car for the rich and making VP Gore rich. Does it smell right?

It has a mighty stench to it. This does nothing to stimulate our economy... then neither did any of the stimulus packages. Most people could not afford it, it's not American made, Al Gore is a lying fraud, and there is no global warming... man made or otherwise at present. This is just more waste of BORROWED taxpayer money.

The car will probably only go about a hundred miles and about 60 miles per hour top speed. (This is based on info I have read about green sports cars which already exist.) Just another fine example of taxpayer waste.

With a top speed of 65 mph, they won't be bragging for long.

That really is pathetic. Recently there was a reality show on Discovery called The Colony. It took them about a week to make a solar powered car running off about 6 car batteries and 2 solar panels to charge the thing and these were malnourished, sleep deprived people sleeping on concrete floors and dealing with stressfull situations. None of them were actually automechanics either.

India is developing a compress air powered car that can cruse at 60 mph and travel several hundred miles on one fill up. let the free market work and it will develop an alternative. The government does not need to fund the development to make others rich. Let me risk my own money and make the profit or suffer the lose.

Gore has been making a lot of green since he started his global warming scare campaigning. Gore is also Chairman of a company that sells carbon offsets. The more regulations that are imposed as a result of global warming theory, the richer Gore becomes. This is not at all surprising. That Gore isn't exposed more often is disheartening, to say the least.

And he complains about the CEO who work and make money. He changes the rules after he has acompany that can benefit from the rule changes. And he has people beleiving he is doing the right thing.

LMAO!! No, it stinks REEEALLY bad! And I thought I had already heard all the wasteful uses of the stimulus money already. I hope Gore plans on buying a couple of those cars because I don't expect that too many Americans will be buying them.
