How many open outlets are available after everything is plugged in?  

I can't count that high! Lots of stuff to power hereabouts, but not enough power to run it all, as if I forget and run the clothes washer and the microwave oven at the same time, the circuit gets tripped and then I have reset the clocks on the ovens. Fortunately the wall clocks are atomic so we still know what time it is...time to get more outlets! We have year-round sun, though, so I should get a solar panel and expand, huh?

Im not sure about the exact number but as far as those that I remember counting, there would be 10 available outlets. We have those that you can put 2 plugs in one outlet. So I counted each one plug. We only usually use one plug in those outlets each, like the the lampshade for one outlet, electric fan for one, etc. and that still leaves one more plug in an outlet free.

second floor is pretty booked up..but the 1st and 3rd i still have a few open.

O. As a matter of fact I have to unplug things when I go to bed to be able to plug my fan in. I only live in a small apartment with about 300 square feet. We may have 6 outlets in the whole place and about 4 of them have extensions. Fore hazard I know, but I am awake about 22 hours a day so I am aware.

I am lucky that my late dad was an electrician. He placed a lot of plugs in the house. He said he hate extension plug and he didn't feel safe with one around. So he placed plugs to make sure we don't need extension plug. There's six in my room alone. There's four near the television and four in the kitchen. There's one outside the bathroom and three in the living room. We also have more in the house, I can't remember the exact number.

not enough so i am always getting power strips!

I have tons of available outlets, but I live in a huge old Victorian house, and I use power strips and surge protectors. I do not know if the wiring could take it if I filled up all the available outlets, though. We get interesting combinations of breaker blowers as it is.

LOL Well as I have remodeled outlets have been added. I have put in an outlet almost every 4 feet because I hate looking for an empty one and we have so many electronics.

It may not be safe but i usually use a power surge strip. It adds a lot more outlets. If you use too much it shuts off.
