character in spite of living a balanced life. But certain traits may give you away when you are off guard. What do you think that may easily give you away to smart people?

I think what would give me away would be my hesitation and reservation to espouse something which I really do not agree with or strongly oppose. Much as i would like to conform or please the majority, when I strongly feel something about a certain subject matter i find it hard to pretend that I support the popular position and so i tend to be hesitant or even reserved when asked to comment. in short, i don't really compromise my principles.

So you mean to say that the indecision on your face is your giveaway.

No, it's not indecision but reservation because i have already decided in accordance with my principles and i would be hesitant in the sense that I would try to be diplomatic about how I would say no.

I dont really notice.. could that be one of the traits? That's because I dont try to hide how I am or what I feel. If I dont like a person then Im not gonna act like we're best friends or something. I just let people take me as I am. It would be up to them if they're going to take advantage of the knowledge of my weaknesses or they're just going to take it as it is. Of course Im also smart that I do have an idea of my possible weaknesses. With this knowledge I have already armed myself of how to deal with the situation just in case someone does test me through my weaknesses. One just has to be ready for anything I guess.^_^

Some people know that I'm very compassionate ,so sometimes people have taken advantage of me even if I appear to be cautious.

Hey bala! I really don't know what might give me away! I try to be myself all the time! I don't like to have to pretend to be someone or something that I'm not! I try to be who I really am at all times! Like I am here on the Lot! I am just me! I try to be honest and be myself! I don't try to hide things from anyone. I can be a very nice person most of the time, but if someone tries to hurt me or someone that I care about then I will show my strength and not back down! I don't like to have to do that, but I vowed a long time ago not to let anyone walk all over me ever again!

My facial expressions give me away everytime. I have been called "animated"..lol..I think that body language is often a tool for figuring these things out too.

To thyself be true, so says the bard. I hope I am not misquoting or re-quoting.If you do not live a life of a lie, you will show nothing but your true self. A balance is not needed.

Seriousness and stress whenever i get to be like that, tends to show up very easily on my face. The smart one's keep away then.. I'm working on keeping a straight face now. Need to outsmart the smart ones..

The smart ones are more smarter in keeping their distance from the straight faces.

Even though I am friendly and outgoing, I am a bit insecure. This stems from my childhood. Most of the time I'm insecure about the way I dress when it comes to presenting myself as the wife of the boss. I am a very casual person and don't like getting all dolled up for certain events. Wearing a dress is something I rarely do. Other than my dress code, I am a well balanced person who loves life.

I am a terribly open book and not at all on my guard. This is the biggest failing in me.On top of it I have a vey transparent face that helps people assess me and my reactions there and then. This was the remark made by my lecturer some thirty years back too.I want to change but I am finding it terribly difficult almost impossible. And if I open my big mouth that is the end of it.

Since I hit menopause, I cry at the drop of a hat, so my weaknesses are obvious. With my learning disabilities, it's that I have any strengths that surprises people!

I have the tendency to blush if I feel embarrassed and if I get nervous it is quite obvious even to the ones that are not so smart! It is very difficult for me to hide the fact that I may be uncertain about something. I think I am pretty much an open book to anyone who meets me!

Till now there really hasn't been any occasion where some smart guy came to know about my weakness or my strength until I tell them about it. The main reason for that is may be because people really don't understand anything from my facial expressions. Meaning, sometimes we get to know more about a person by just looking at them, but people fail to understand anything by simply looking at me. They always misinterpret.

You must be wearing a great mask.I wish i could have one like that because people tend to read my face as the back of their hands.
