Regard Cosmetic Surgery as a Path to a BETTER Job? |
|
A number of studies show that tall, good-looking people do better in the job markets.
The bias toward better-looking people is cruel, but it is a fact of life. So, more and more people choose a cosmetic surgery in order to find a better job. From where I stand, I want to do all cosmetic surgery should be aware that after the side effects of the non-appearance of congenital deficiency of the choice of people who do cosmetic surgery are generally aware of some of the side effects of surgery.
What is your opinion on cosmetic surgery? Natural beauty and cosmetic surgery, which one is more important? In order to find a better job, will you choose a a cosmetic surgery if you are not a good-looking one?

2. dragon54u (9445) | 1 month ago | I'm a very plain looking woman but I would never, ever have cosmetic surgery! First, God gave me this face for a reason. Second, I've become comfortable with it, wrinkles and all. I would never change the way I look and if someone doesn't like the way I look, they can turn away.

3. paintswithwords (242) | 1 month ago | Firstly, I would have to disagree that as a general rule looks gets the job. Now there are careers that are based in part on looks. For example, TV personalities would be a job where looks might be something they would want you to alter.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Unless one it tremendously disfigured, one will be attractive to someone and probably to many.
I would not have cosmetic surgery for a job. For many reasons. I would not have CS for anyone for any reason unless I had been horribly injured in an accident.
Everyone can be attractive with the proper grooming. If I wanted a job very much and the emphasis was on looks, rather than spend large sums of money on cosmetic surgery, I would invest in good professional beauty consultants and finishing school. Good grooming, and beauty training can do wonders for a person's appearance. Learning how to walk and carry oneself, dress to enhance your best features as well as hairstyle, makeup and a skin care regime can bring out the beauty in anyone.
Those steps couple with skill and hard work should assure anyone a good job without resorting to cosmetic surgery.

5. muscles4me (8530) | 1 month ago | I hate pain so I doubt if I would choose cosmetic surgery. BUT if it would improve my well being I might. By that I mean if my noses was so mishaped that I could not breath through my nose I might. same for my eyes, if my eye lid drooped so much that I could not see well then I might.

6. ybong007 (879) | 1 month ago | It's not option for me. In the long run its your knowledge that matters, there are a lot of not so good looking people that earn others respects because they're good at what they do and not because they look good. Others may have the look but if they don't have the knowledge they won't get the job either. Cheers!

7. drannhh (7339) | 1 month ago | My knee-jerk reaction is against it, especially if it is a job-related choice, but the exception would be if the person had been disfigured in some accident or at birth. There is a difference between not looking like a movie star and having some series defect. Some things need to be fixed and some don't. If someone was the victim of a vicious attack where the criminal mutilated them, then that victim would not want to have a reminder of that every look in the mirror. So to that person I would say go for it. But if the person actually looked ok, but just had low self-esteem then I would say leave things as they are. Beauty, you know, is in the eye of the beholder.

9. williamjisir (12913) | 1 month ago | Hello getbrowser. I think that it all depends on the job that one intends to do when it comes to cosmetic surgery. Take working as hotel waitresses and waiters, it is better for the hotel to have some nice-looking employees to attract more customers. But as to me, I don't think that I will have any cosmetic surgery though I am so ordinary-looking. It is good enough for my own career, teaching.

10. haiershen (888) | 1 month ago | i couldn't take a risk in order to get a good job, i'm fine with a ordinary looking face. no doubt that a person with good-looking face who have more chance to get a good job, but as the matter of fact, this is not only reasons which was request by employer.such as the capability or the degree is also the importance factor.therefore, even if you had a good-looking one after cosmetic surgery, you also may not get a good job.why not to changed one.i like my face.good luck and have a nice day!
