Its A Small World After All, Its A Small Small World!!!

I couldn't appreciate it more. I have friends in the UK, Canada, Egypt, it's so great! I would never have known them if not for the internet and some of them I would never have known if not for MyLot! YAY MyLOT!!!!

hahahaha.... do u know that in disney parks plays that song??? and on their cruises too??? hahahaha i used to work there it was very funny to work there, too see the world, to meet diferent people from different nations and yet, find a guy who was ur neightboor when i was just a little girl (he regconnize my lastname and ask me for my parents)... yes... it`s a small world after all...

Yes it is truely amazing. The world is becoming very small indeed. But still we find it very difficult to get connected to our long lost friends and relatives. Does that mean the world is getting bigger? After all, money makes mare to go. Is n't it? Here we get paid to get connected and there we lose money to get connected and so we stay away from our loved ones. We are living in a very funny world.

I love every bit of it, as I have learned a lot. I have also learned that the world is rapidly changing. For instance I have seen people be rude to the elderly that are from a culture that would not have done it in the past. I see language used here that normally would be considered out of place. On the other hand I see changes where people value other opinions and traditions and open themselves up to learning and to growing. Its a good place to be, and quite unique.

Yes, it is very lovely how this website lets us discuss things with people all over the world
It is a small world, because of the internet we can be virtually everywhere in the world just inside our room. And, of course, the world of mylot is a "small world" with only a few people of the 188,885 population still active. Most have already quit .

I do appreciate the fact that we are connecting with people from all across the globe, it is a truly wonderful thing . . .

Hi Hatley:) I love that song! And yes, as the years go by, the world does get "smaller" for we have so many rapid ways now to communicate with one another, wherever we live.

That is one of the best parts about social networks, be it Facebook or Mylot. You get different viewpoints from people outside of where you live and get to realize what is important elsewhere
I remember during the Viet Nam war that I often went outside the U.S. for the news so I could get a clearer view of just what the heck was going on over there. Our "enemy" Cuba gave the best news reports of just how badly things were going, although our "friend" the English were pretty close LOL

Let me first say I hate that song and it get stuck your in head, it is the worst song at getting stuck in you head ever!

Hi Hatley, Well I for one am from the UK and really do appreciate the fact that through myLot I now have friends from all over the world. It is interesting in discussions to see different view points from cultural differences too and I am blessed to have become quite close to many although there is a great distance geographically but none at all as immediate contact through the push of a button, AMAZING really eh! I marvel at myLot as to me this site was my first step to connecting to so many wonderful people like you to become my friend, now I have so many friends from all over the world, it is really great and some has become my close friends and even met couple of friends, now I can sent little presents and Christmas cards to them as well, yes this world is getting smaller to me and it is nice to have so many frineds and I am honoured to have you as my friend.
