Is Obama a 1 termer?

Quite frankly, I wouldn't expect Rush Limbaugh to say anything else, would you? If I'm not mistaken, I believe that a couple of weeks before the election he indicatd that McCain was closing in. I voted for Obama and my view of his performance thus far is mixed. I always thought that his view of the war was naive but he did promise to get out of Iraq and that will be a key factor in my decision of whether or not to vote for him again. McCain, I believe, gave a more honest view of the war (even though we didn't want to hear it)and I believe that he will be proven to be right. Another key issue for me is health care reform. That's another key factor in my decision of whether or not to vote for him. I have a personal vested interest in this issue because DH suffered a severe illness at the beginning of the year. So far, all I've heard is a lot of rhetoric and a lot of wonderful speeches but I do think that he is trying to change things.

I agree he is a one timer. He (President Obama) also realizes that he has only 2 years to get passed everything he wants to do. He will lose his congressional support in the mid term elections. He believed that his message of Hope and Change would be enough to Carry the day. He is a great speaker but when you look at his speeches he always talks in generalities and never gives specifics. He has left the details to the congressional leadership to which the American people do not have faith in them.

I sure hope Rush is right. I sure hope 0bama is a one termer or less. (He could be impeached!). However, I remember way back when Rush predicted Hillary would not be elected Senator. OOPS...

Rush is a really smart guy, a political genius even, but this far out from the next Presidential election it is completely impossible to predict what will happen. True, it is possible to speculate what will happen, but predict? No way!

Well Obama is sure set himself up for that, but that does not mean he will be. For Obama to be defeated in 2012 he will have to have an opponent that can actually inspire people. Another McCain like candidate just will not work.

do you really think so? so many americans seemed to be in love with him before he became president. has he done a 180? is the honeymoon over? i am canadian but live only an hour away from the US border so i only get news that is on tv (generally with some sort of political slant).

Too early to talk about one termers. I agree he is working into the job and taht is frustrating to watch, but hey, give him more tahn 9 months, eh?

If it were called today, I'd say one term.

I'm racking my brain trying to figure out what the Obama administration has done thus far.

This is all I can come up with:

Supposedly "saved" X amount of jobs. But this is more word-play than an actual solid statistic. It's partisan yelling match fodder.

Insulted every American who doesn't subscribe fully to administration plans.

Increased the size of government.

Waged war with all opposition, including a news organization.

Spent a sh1t-ton of money.

Took the former line drawn in the sand and actually dug it into a trench, only to stand on one side as the most partisan administration in at least my lifetime.

As I stated above, I'm all for giving people time, but their time has to be spent productively, otherwise, STFU and GTFO.

Yes, He's a 1 termer. maybe he won't even make it that long. VP Biden might be forced to take the reigns of power from him by legal means (the VP is allowed to do that, under the Constitution) to save the Democratic party. Obama has pulled some bone-0head plays in the last 9 months, not to mention playing more golf in 9 months than Bush did in 3 years. does the man not realize he has a job to do? Will he ever come down off the campaign podium?

O should be o zero termer and should be removed immediately for the sake and safety of our country and what's left of our freedom. Nancy Pelosi falsified certification documents from the DNC to the state election commissions, omitting the vital phrase..."is eligible under the Constitution." I have the copy sent to my state.
The egregious treason committed by the depraved democrats will cost us our sovereignty if it is allowed to continue.
Months ago, O herded the Republicans into the White House basement, no press allowed.
It was leaked that there was a meeting, but not reported re the topic. I spoke with two Congressmen re the meeting. O told the repubs that he would accomplish everything on his agenda AT ALL COST, even a second term. It is painfully clear that this is a man on a mission; it is called jihad, the destruction of western civilization from within. He is doing an excellent job of completing his goal of bankrupting and destroying our country. THE COST has been to we the people.
This man knowingly usurped a presidency with the aid of George Soros, Oprah Winfrey, Pelosi and other depraved, corrupt democrats (maybe repubs, too), the DNC and the most vicious of thugs that now run our country to our detriment.
THE COST, if we are able to unseal his vital records (which we, the taxpayer PAY his lawyers to keep sealed), will be the truth of his illegitimacy and his removal legally and/or his "removal" by the gangsters and elitists in high places who engineered this coup in the first instance.
We are living in perilous times and are thisclose to destruction if the truth is kept sealed.

I've heard several prominent conservatives compare Obama to "one-term Carter." I think they are on target with their predictions.
