Is Obama a 1 termer? |

Rush Limbaugh says on Fox News that President Obama is a 1- termer. I agree. What do you think and why? This is open to supporters and protesters. Please be respectful but honest.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe that a couple of weeks before the election he indicatd that McCain was closing in. I voted for Obama and my view of his performance thus far is mixed. I always thought that his view of the war was naive but he did promise to get out of Iraq and that will be a key factor in my decision of whether or not to vote for him again. McCain, I believe, gave a more honest view of the war (even though we didn't want to hear it)and I believe that he will be proven to be right. Another key issue for me is health care reform. That's another key factor in my decision of whether or not to vote for him. I have a personal vested interest in this issue because DH suffered a severe illness at the beginning of the year. So far, all I've heard is a lot of rhetoric and a lot of wonderful speeches but I do think that he is trying to change things.

2. bobmnu (2647) | 1 month ago | I agree he is a one timer. He (President Obama) also realizes that he has only 2 years to get passed everything he wants to do. He will lose his congressional support in the mid term elections. He believed that his message of Hope and Change would be enough to Carry the day. He is a great speaker but when you look at his speeches he always talks in generalities and never gives specifics. He has left the details to the congressional leadership to which the American people do not have faith in them.

3. redyellowblackdog (3986) | 1 month ago | I sure hope Rush is right. I sure hope 0bama is a one termer or less. (He could be impeached!). However, I remember way back when Rush predicted Hillary would not be elected Senator. OOPS...
Rush is a really smart guy, a political genius even, but this far out from the next Presidential election it is completely impossible to predict what will happen. True, it is possible to speculate what will happen, but predict? No way!

4. gewcew23 (4073) | 1 month ago | Well Obama is sure set himself up for that, but that does not mean he will be. For Obama to be defeated in 2012 he will have to have an opponent that can actually inspire people. Another McCain like candidate just will not work.

matersfish (805) | 1 month ago | I agree that any President needs time, even one who was marketed as hope and change personified.
However, how much time is enough time when the time is misspent? Waging a war on Fox News and putting so much effort into partisan healthcare is what's consuming the time now. How long does that continue before the "give him time" thing is null and void?
If he's just going to spend time trying to silence his opposition, then what's really being accomplished?:/
It reminds me of that great line from the Jane's Addiction tune: I'm gonna kick tomorrow.
Eventually, tomorrow isn't good enough. And I think this is why a lot of people are fed up. Terms don't have a lot of months. 9 down and, so far, the only "victory" claimed is a relative number of supposed jobs saved that cannot even be accurately calculated.
Supporter or stark opposition, at some point, the misspent and slipping time should cause one to worry.
10 months? 11? 16? When to make the call? 40?

| 8. WBtheMP3guy (76) | 1 month ago | Yes, He's a 1 termer. maybe he won't even make it that long. VP Biden might be forced to take the reigns of power from him by legal means (the VP is allowed to do that, under the Constitution) to save the Democratic party. Obama has pulled some bone-0head plays in the last 9 months, not to mention playing more golf in 9 months than Bush did in 3 years. does the man not realize he has a job to do? Will he ever come down off the campaign podium?

9. epicure35 (152) | 4 weeks ago | O should be o zero termer and should be removed immediately for the sake and safety of our country and what's left of our freedom. Nancy Pelosi falsified certification documents from the DNC to the state election commissions, omitting the vital phrase..."is eligible under the Constitution." I have the copy sent to my state. The egregious treason committed by the depraved democrats will cost us our sovereignty if it is allowed to continue. Months ago, O herded the Republicans into the White House basement, no press allowed. It was leaked that there was a meeting, but not reported re the topic. I spoke with two Congressmen re the meeting. O told the repubs that he would accomplish everything on his agenda AT ALL COST, even a second term. It is painfully clear that this is a man on a mission; it is called jihad, the destruction of western civilization from within. He is doing an excellent job of completing his goal of bankrupting and destroying our country. THE COST has been to we the people. This man knowingly usurped a presidency with the aid of George Soros, Oprah Winfrey, Pelosi and other depraved, corrupt democrats (maybe repubs, too), the DNC and the most vicious of thugs that now run our country to our detriment. THE COST, if we are able to unseal his vital records (which we, the taxpayer PAY his lawyers to keep sealed), will be the truth of his illegitimacy and his removal legally and/or his "removal" by the gangsters and elitists in high places who engineered this coup in the first instance. We are living in perilous times and are thisclose to destruction if the truth is kept sealed.

laglen (3740) | 4 weeks ago | I agree. I find it VERY offensive if he is not a citizen. he is killing our country with no apology. It is amazing the amount of Americans that still like him. Not sure what he will have to do to make these people open their eyes.

epicure35 (152) | 4 weeks ago | laglen, I am so sad to have to keep saying this, but people just don't listen or are too complacent or apathetic to deal with the reality here. This man was jockeyed into position by those with only one desire, to destroy the only truly free nation in the world. It is his JOB and DUTY, as well as his personal DESIRE to end a free America and remove our sovereignty and every protection we have. I have recently seen a picture of him carrying the book "The Post-America World". Don't people understand - he was raised and trained in jihad, socialism, marxism, and hatred of America and Israel and he has been foisted on this country ONLY to implement these policies by the worst kind of criminal elites and his radical friends. This is in no way "politics as usual" but a clandestine coup of our nation. Those who have attempted to reveal the truth have either been murdered, "suicided", "resigned", fired illegally, threatened, intimidated, blackmailed, had their reputations besmirched, cars tampered with, death threats, and silenced in every way possible. I'll never understand why so many choose to remain dangerously clueless. The evil here is so thick you can cut it with a knife. What we know about him is damning enough; what WE pay to his lawyers (wrongfully through our hard-earned taxes that should be used to benefit US) to keep his vital records sealed could reveal the most monstrous, diabolical information about this traitor who is key to the ruination of our free nation.
