My kitten died for unknown reason? When was the last time you had a pet die? |
|
It was really such a sad sight. i saw my kitten now eating for some days. i tried to check on my kitten as to why he does not want to eat any thing that i give him and after 3 days he died. i didn't bring him to a vet as i am quite shy to bring a kitten to a vet. as here in my country, we don't really put that much care for pets like for stray cats. this is the kitten born from a stray cat i fed from time to time before. i was expecting this kitten to grow up as a strong cat like the first kitten i cared for and now a big cat which is still alive and still i care and feed this cat.
Anyways, as i was saying i was kind of shy to bring my kitten to the doctor. as not much people will bring their cat to a vet. like people here mostly just let their cats or kittens die if it get sick. they will try to feed them or give them medicine by themselves but not to the extent of bringing them to the doctor. so it is not a usual practice and i feel that my kitten will not survive anyways, so i just let the cat die naturally. i tried my best to care and feed my kitten . i love my kitten as it was a very cute kitten. with black and white fur.

| 2. Nero11 (31) | 3 weeks ago | The last time was not infact my pet but we had a terrible time looking after our neighbours pets for a week. Within the first 3 days of them being away we had to call a vet in as one of their rabbits was moving very little. It ultimately had to be put down. Days later I found one of their cats dead on our lawn. It had been killed by rats poison... we believe perhaps eaten from the local bakery. I was only about 9 years old. The upset has put me off getting a pet since. Amazingly, they bought US flowers when they returned. I really feel for you and your loss.

hotsummer (2680) | 3 weeks ago | that is why i avoid putting poison for rats around my home. cause i had one cat that died when the cat ate the poison meant for rat. it was really one terrible experience.

|
|
|
hotsummer (2680) | 3 weeks ago | i have only one cat today left. other cats i see here are just stray cats and i don't usually those stray cats cause i can only care for one and too many stray cats means i have too many poo to clean around the garden. i usually drive them away as each morning i will see their poo in the garden so i have to drive them away to poo else where.

5. greatsasuke (197) | 3 weeks ago | My dog died 2 years ago, in the summer of 2007. I miss her very much. She was a small mutt with golden hair. I found her when she was just a pup. It was winter time and she was cold, so I took her in and thought I would let her go when the weather got warmer. I grew attached to her and never was able to throw her out of the house. She used to sleep with me on my bed and was my best friend. I miss her a lot. To this day I don't know what she died from. She just became ill and within four days she passed. I took her to the vet, but they couldn't figure out what was wrong. I hope she is in doggy heaven.

chertsy (2577) | 3 weeks ago | Your sweet little dog is in Heaven. I guess you never heard of the Rainbow Bridge.
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

neelianoscet (1767) | 3 weeks ago | Sadness is a natural feelings and even though our pets already gone their memory still stuck in one's mind that we would surely miss their affection and loyalty for being a source of entertainment and companion. Have a great day!

hotsummer (2680) | 2 weeks ago | yeah sadness is a natural feeling. as i thought of this discussion this morning it brought back the memory of my kitten and gave some sadness again in my heart. but i immediately banish that thought so i will not feel sad.

7. dawnald (9466) | 3 weeks ago | the last pet that died (other than a goldfish) was our dog Lady. In this country, we do use vets and it definitely extends our pets' lives. Possibly there wasn't anything that could have been done for your kitten though.

hotsummer (2680) | 3 weeks ago | i don't know if we get sad if our fish die cause i don't have any fish pet, anyways we have vets here just that it is not that common for people here to do that. not unless it is a dog but for cats not so much,

8. Binthu (2830) | 3 weeks ago | Hi Summer,
This was happened due to the unknown infection to your kitten and also you must know the status when he refused to eat the foods, so this is looks like the infection and need to give the proper antibiotics to treat well in order to save the life of this beautiful kitten. Anyway don't worry, it was happened and your kitten left the good memories to you, in order to think about him when you have the free times. So we wish the kitten to have the good life in the heaven.
Have a wonderful day.

9. rosepedal64 (1219) | 3 weeks ago | Hi hotsummer How are you doing my friend? Well I had a toy poodle about 10 years ago. She was more of a child than a dog to us. She had given birth to three litters and did great being a mom. Then one she started moving very slowly around the house. She couldn't get up in the bed or even on the couch. I knew that something was differently wrong. I took her to the vet and they find a tumor in her stomach. At that time I didn't have the money for her to get surgery or even have her put down. I decided to try and treat her myself with home remedies stuff. She did live for another year. We finally had to put her down. I cried like a baby over her and still today I will think about her from time to time and get teary eyed. Animals can be a major part of any family.

10. ladym33 (5115) | 3 weeks ago | That is very sad, I am sure that was very hard to see. Here in the United States most people consider their pets part of their families. My heart broke so hard when we had to put my dog down. She was nearly 15 years old and we had, had her since she was 6 weeks old. But I knew we had to do the right thing for her when she was falling down and not being able to get back up, so with love we took her and had her put to sleep, but it was one of the most painful things I have ever experience in my life. It hurt so bad I felt like someone had punched me in the stomach. It has been over two years and still I am tearing up as I right this and I am certain will have a good cry after I am finished here.
| |
| |
|
|
hotsummer (2680) | 3 weeks ago | yes i know that in US that pets are taken care for like a real family. and that you hurt so much if you loss them. we feel the same way though here but we are not that showy in showing our sadness when we loss a pet but it does hurt us that as much too.
