The recent movie,2012, is raising the eyebrows of quite a number of humans. The concept of end of the world which is based on the Mayan prediction does neglect the true nature of the prediction....THE END, it is going to be the end of building, capitalism destroying resources.2012 is going back to being natural and protecting the earth. The date 21/12/2012 marks the first winter solstice in 26000.The SUN and EARTH will be aligned with the center of the Milky Way.The moment would also be marked by the collision with the as yet unidentified planet NIBIRU when the Mayan calendar ends on the winter solstice 3 years from now ..........

They thought the computers were going to crash on the day the new millennium started and bring to an end the world as we knew it. I'm still waiting.

Maybe and maybe not. However I don't think we will get advance notice and especially not down to the exact day it is supposed to happen.

Hello my friend sukumar794 Ji, Well,I am not much affected by this theory. I believe, our creator is grea and I belong to HIM, HE has full right to end my exixtance. Further I have strong belief that whatever is to ghappen, it will happen and no one can change this. So why to worry at all.let's live peacefully upto last. May God bless You and have a great time.

As for me, I do not believe that the whole world is going to make an abrupt end all too soon. The movie however stirred the minds of so many who are feeble in their outlooks.

Hello my friend sukumar794 Ji, So nice of you. I am with you , there are some people who wants to create their own importance at the cost of others. I always believe that nothing would happen without HIS blessings, even leaf would not drop from tree. Such statements would never detter me. May God bless You and have a great time.

The calendars I use all end on December 31, and the world hasn't come to an end yet. Even though the Mayan's calender ends in 2012, it doesn't mean that they thought the world would end then. Just that they didn't continue past then. Some of the things in the film are true, the Earth's magnetic field does regularly change polarity (last time was around 2 million year's ago [I think]) and is overdue, but as no-one was around to record what happened then nothing may happen. Yellowstone park is a super volcano and will explode one day, could be tomorrow (it obviously hasn't happened today), or may not erupt for another thousand years. Some time in the future the San Andreas fault will cause parts of California to split from the U.S. mainland (again could be soon, or not for thousands of years). If the planet Nibiru existed, then I'm sure it would have been seen by space probes or telescopes before now. I will be making plans for holidays etc in 2013.

Well if you know anything about the ancient Mayans then you might be worried. This whole thing is based on their calendar which says the world will end in 2012. There have been other similar predictions along the same path. But like other doomsday warnings we will just have to wait and see.

Don't think that 2012 is the end of the world, my friend. Because only God the father the creature knows about the second coming of our lord Jesus Christ. Read your bible then search for the truth that will ease your trouble about judgment day on 2012...Those are fiction and false alarm...I'm not worried about it because I found the truth the bible said...

Perhaps it is time to recite Glory be to the Father,to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning ,now and ever shall be the without END. Amen.

I really do not believe it yet to happen on 2012. Well let us just wait for the thing that would happen as they say. I think that is a collaboration of many theories that say many things about the end of the world. Why worry now, when you can enjoy life as it is right now. If its really the end of the world nobody would survive it anyway then why worry about it. Just go on with your life and enjoy every moment of it. If it comes then at least you have enjoyed the last 2 years of your life. If it did not happen then at least you did not waste 2 years of your life worrying of its coming.

I have not seen the movie yet... Hope to see it soon. But I actually worked out where the rumor of 2012 started from. Last year I watched the whole serie of the X-Files on DVD. And the last episode talks about 2012. I have very strong reasons to believe that it is where the whole saga about 2012 originated from. And that's going a few years back.

I want to see that movie however with the price of movies I probably wont get to. I personally dont think the earth will end then and even if it was going to we wouldnt find out until that day. If it really is going to why ruin what would be left of your life by stressing about it all the time. I would rather enjoy my last years as much as I can.

Hi sukumar, The movie is all Hollywood hype and is mere nonsense. The Mayans did not say that the world would end on that date and I don't expect any of them thought that either. If we are logical we know that this world ends for tens of thousands of people every day, and we never know when our turn will come, only that it well. We are all going to make that transition someday and naturally, for some it will be December 21,2012, just as it will be today for some of us. The earth will be here for a long time yet because even if we manage to destroy all life on the planet, which we have the ability to do, we will not destroy the earth. It will renew itself in time,(and time means nothing except to us)and eventually there will be life on it again. Wasn't it Roosevelt who said "there's nothing to fear but fear itself? Think about it, Hollywood makes millions by playing on our fears. Blessings.

I very much like your way of thinking. Whether predicted by the Mayan calendar or not, it's well past time to start protecting Mother Earth and respecting the resources that she has shared with us.

I do not believe the world is going to end on 12/21/2012. It is a movie which I would like to see. We should just live our life and not world so much about when the world is going to end.

This is funny LOL. Yes, it's been a few days now that so many people are fussing over the end of the world and doomsday so to speak. I think if we're gonna die that way, you can't control it, so why stress over it. Just live life to its fullest while you can.

I don't believe that the world will end in 2012. I mean, look at all the craziness that happened when we entered the new millenium. I do believe that the world will end one day, but I do not think that it will be in our lifetimes, or our childrens...

Climate change...that we should be concerned about. If we don't, most likely that could be like end. We should be concerned to our mother earth for the future of the next generations to come. If you want them to live their lives to the fullest too.
