No, I'm not making this up. Recovery.gov lists several fictional districts in Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Iowa, and Connecticut indicating billions in federal stimulus dollars have created jobs in these fantasy districts.
"New Mexico Watchdog, a project of the Franklin Center for Government & Public Integrity, said in all, nearly $6.4 billion was used to "create or save" nearly 30,000 jobs in 440 non-existing districts, including in New Mexico's 4th, 22nd, 35th and 40th Districts. New Mexico has three Congressional Districts."
Even Democrats like David Obey who helped write the stimulus are pissed about thisi garbage.
"Congressman David Obey, who chairs the appropriations Committee, calls the inaccuracies "outrageous" and says the administration owes "every American a commitment to work night and day to correct the ludicrous mistakes."

You can't blame Obama. This kind of propaganda won't work properly until the state controls the media. Then there won't be any embarrassing fact-checking to detract from the accomplishments of our glorious leader.
Just how does one send money to districts that don't exist????

May I add to my response below...
They're not even taking the time to be careful with their b/s anymore. That should make us wonder.

And yet this administration claims everyone else is "just making stuff up".
It is no wonder that he would not be elected now if the election was today.
His popularity in TANKING!

The difference is that the bridge to nowhere actually existed. Obama supported that too. The problem is not only that Obama pushed this stimulus, but it's his own website that published these bogus numbers.
Look at your own state and see what districts he invented there. Note, Texas has only 32 congressional districts.

Wow I just read Fact check, you know the site that is run by independents! They've been researching this and came up with this amazing discovery! The people who reported the stats of where this money was going have made numerous mistakes in the Zip codes! Thus that's why there are places that don't exist, even contractor who did billing wrote donw the wrong zip codes! But we won't let anyone here know this OK? Let's keep this quiet so the haters can keep up with their hatred! Maybe we can! HA! Never mind!

So where did the money really go then? That is what I want to know.
There are too many "mistakes" for it not to be on purpose. One I can see...but not this many. THis was propagenda using lies to make Obama look better. Only it back fired and now he looks worse..To bad the major media is not going to cover it. If it would have been Bush or any other republican than they would have been all over it.

I watched a story about this last night on ABC news and was appalled by the blatant lying that so many of the people in this country are ignoring. I was looking to see if some one had posted about this because I had planned to do so myself. I also went to their site to read about it http://blogs.abcnews.com/theworldnewser/2009/11/why-was-white-house-website-riddled-with-errors.html. This is a disgrace not only because they are lying to us but because many of the lies are a disgusting use of our tax money that should never been given to this project to begin with.

Tdemex you ignorant coward! Even with the misreporting, the administration still insists the totals are correct.. they also refuse to make any corrections. That means they know the numbers are lies, but still plan to use them anyway.

Yeah, Obama is blaming everyone else. There's a big surprise tdemex. If they told you the sky was green you'd just put on a blindfold and argue that they're telling the truth and Fox News has fooled us haters into thinking the sky is blue. Of course you're too ignorant to realize it was ABC, not Fox News that broke this story.

Follow up! They just discovered that it's the people reporting where the cash is going! The missing districts are typos where the screwed up the zip codes! But we won't see any of that here will we? How can the haters vent when there's a fact check articles by independents that have anyalized the real reason this has happened! Shhhhh! Don't let this get around! But wait a while and Fox will come up with some kinda trashy rebutal! Right!

The administration claims they are all due to human error, really sometimes several in every state. Then they claim the totals are correct. Do they think we are that stupid?

So, once again...it is all OUR fault and not the faulty information we're given?
It's a case of "ooops, we got caught again, quick, deflect the blame!"

The list of lies gets even longer.
Propaganda tastes good to some folks. I've had my fill.
