I am glad to hear that the worker you had in your home was both competant and a jolly fellow as well. I rent and so we have to call maintenance to come out when something goes wrong. They are pretty good about getting it taken care of but none have much more than a serious and business like personality. Which is okay I guess.

hijugsjugs I am glad the gas man was so funny as laughter is really good for you, even had medical tests to show that smiling and laughing relieve stress and keep blood pressure down. Its also wonderful when repair people do a good job and have a sense of humor also. Keep smiling and be happy.[em]thumbup[/em

Hiya Hatley, Laughing is good for me too I´ve just been watching a Reality Show it´s the only one I do really watch and even then I turn it over sometimes. Was laughing about a famous Spanish Personality that although he has done some things in his time he is quite funny. Jesulin is quite a character and instead of the subject being serious it turned into a bit of a Comedy.

LOL. It is so hard to find good people like that who will do a good job and also make you laugh at the same time, these days. Most service people are not very friendly and they are only out to make their money.

I know that made the whole experience definitely worth it! I love people with a great sense of humor. For me, having a good laugh together is a priceless experience. I hope that the company he works for really appreciates him. Hey, maybe you could call the company and tell them about your positive experience with the worker. He would appreciate that. When I get low or a litle depressed I pray, that seems to help me. Plus I play with my granddaughter and she always makes me happy. Have a great weekend.

It's really wonderful when the people we employ turn out to be a source of fun, and not just business. I've actually made a number of friends that way. People come in all different personality types, and it's nice to meet ones that are fun to be around, even if it's only a working relationship.

I like it when you find someone like that with a good sense of humor. He probably appreciated the fact that you enjoyed it as well. If you can both get a good laugh, then it doesn't seem as much like work at all. Sometimes people are so understanding, or just don't get the joke. So it is great that you caught on to his sense of humor. Hope you have a great weekend!

Glad to hear that he did a good job and provided some entertainment at the same time. I can't remember ever having a funny repairman. Well our friend is our furnace and air conditioning guy and he is pretty funny but we know him so I don't think that really counts. But I am glad you had a good and fun experience. That is always nice.

It is always quite a pleasure to have a person come into your house to do a job that needs to be done that is a genuinely nice person. Last year we had new carpet laid in our house and the man that came in to lay the carpet was such a nice man. He was just a couple of years older than myself and it turns out that we both grew up in the same neighborhood. We had plenty of things to talk about and he got the job done very well despite the difficulties that we orginally had with the carpet based on the fact that the provider measured it wrong and sent us the wrong amount and such.

Hiya jugs, Once this year I had to have the Gasman round to repair that Water Heater for want of a better word. At first he was all serious but then we got talking and we all ended up laughing with him. Not only that true to his word he did a great repair considering the state most of these kind of Heaters are in and did not charge very much which was also another welcome thing too. Another time I had another Repairman for the Heater come to the House but he was very shifty eyed he was making my Hair curl I can tell you.
