Once again proving he's a complete moron, Sen. Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev) has announced that it's people in government jobs that are suffering, and the private sector is just fine.
When will the royalty wannabes in DC start poking their heads outside the beltway long enough to breath a little real air?

He's making too much money on his corruption to care. I'm sure the slime ball sleeps just fine.

You said the key words right there...they don't care..they don't have to and they don't need to. They don't even care that we all know they are full of crap. Do you know that I debated with a fairly wealthy lady today. I don't even remember how it began but she was all for these people that don't work taking from our social security etc. She said that we have to help those that NEED help. I do agree on that but the problem is that alot of them just rely on help and could work if only they wanted to. We make it too easy for them not to. I then described the little 19 yr olds getting 500.00 a month in food stamps and they don't even have kids and are living with relatives and spending their food stamps on junk food for themselves and their friends. Sorry that pisses me off. The list goes on but you all know it. She said, "Sid, that could be you.You just need to change your mindset and know the system." I thought she was being sarcastic but she wasn't. She really thinks this is all ok. I got busy with customers but she and my co-worker went round and round with it. She was basically telling us that we were better off quitting our jobs and going with government aid which means government control.

No one talked to me, or my husband, or my friends. I think I am still private sector. This is nuts.

I think he meant the part of the private sector that has bought and paid for him.

Funny...we were talking about this very thing just today. An owner of an ice cream shop here in town was saying their sales were down 22% from this time last year. In our shop, we are selling 40-50 less cakes per week than this time last year. And in my husband's convenience store...his receipts for the past month are $5000.00 less than last month. So yes...I'd say these 3 small examples prove the private sector jobs are doing just fine!

Sorry...I meant to say $5000.00 less this past month than the same month last year!

Has he even visited his state after his reelection?

Of course he has, he has to meet with the people he's running his scams with to make sure his investments of taxpayer money is still lining his pockets.

Hmmm...If they popped their little heads outside, they'd see the private sector protesting their corrupt ways! I'm not big on protests but something needs to be done. I raised 4 kids on my own and yes, we struggled but we all got by. I have a 17 year old still at home. Things should financially so much better wouldn't ya think? It's the worst I've seen it in years! My daughter works (thankfully) and buys most of her own clothes and things a 17 yr old wants. Senior pics? I sold my silver collection to pay for them. She offered to but I just couldn't take her up on it. I paid for my other girls pictures and graduation stuff. My boss says sales have gone steadily down from year to year..this year being the worst! Ya know...I don't even want to vote. I really don't. Why would I? If someone seems "good" then odds are that just means they are a better liar. Even if there were one say that really had integrity and cared...he'd get in there and it wouldn't be long before he'd be just as corrupt. I've talked to some of these protesters. They aren't just rebellious kids. These are business people and well educated people. I agree with their cause. Maybe if we all refused to participate in the voting...that might grab there attention. I understand all the complaints. They are legit but what do we do? I don't see protesting doing any good. They don't care what we think. They can afford not to care what we think.

I have thought for quite a while that Reid was out of touch with reality, but this proves it. It also comes across as a sort of excuse and push for larger, bigger government. We are supposed to believe that bigger government means more jobs (of course it does, but still) and that it will fix all our economic problems. This is just nuts, why can't Nevada vote him out??
