Sometimes I get the worst cravings for anything salty and crunchy. I try to resist, but then end up eating all the wrong things. I'm not sure if these cravings are hormonally related or just real hunger. I'm not on any kind of...

My favorite low fat dessert are the fudge popsicles. They're low fat (at least the ones I buy) and they taste great. They're not as decadent as real fudge or chocolate icecream, but they're not as fattening, either.
Sometimes I...

It's been over four years since I gave birth to my daughter. And yet I still struggle daily with the pounds I put on during pregnancy. For the most part, I guess it has less to do with the pounds and more with the bad eating...

Not sure why, but I get very strong cravings for sweets between 9 and 11 PM. Not sure why I would get cravings at that time, but I do. Sometimes I have to give in to a craving, but that's not very good for the diet.
I've tried...

One of my favorite home cooked "fast food" recipes would be tuna fish salad. It's home made and healthy, at least it is, when you use my secret recipe. Well, it's not really so secret. Most times, I try to go easy on the mayo, as...

I've always wondered why so many people are obsessed with the low carb diet craze. I can't imagine that eating big glops of meat could actually be healthy. There are lots of people that eat no meat at all and are super healthy....

Speaking from strictly an emotional point of view, I'd say that my heart is the most imperfect part of me. I trust all the wrong people. Actually, I trust people that should be able to be trusted, but then they turn out to be...

I know that rotisserie chicken is supposed to be healthier than fried chicken, but sometimes I don't think it's healthy at all. Certainly, it tastes delicious. And, I've often tried adding it to the diet to help me lose weight....

When I'm on a diet, sweets and cake are my inevitable down fall. I don't like pie that much, but cake has my name written all over it. Maybe it's because cake has lots of carbs and I crave carbs constantly. Maybe I like cake so...

While, I was pregnant, everyone assured me that the baby weight would practically fall off the moment the baby was born. Didn't turn out that way. And, nursing didn't make the baby weight go away either.
Now almost four years...

Growing up, we had three meals everyday. Often a bowl of cereal with milk and toast in the morning; balanced lunch provided at school and then a vegetarian based hearty dinner. Usually we didn't have lots of meats, because we...

Today was so stressful that I fell off the diet wagon and gave into sweets temptation. I'd been doing pretty good for two weeks, eating nothing but salads and fruits and other healthy, low fat meals. But, the stress and anxiety...

Since going on a diet, all I can think about are tacos. So, today I broke down and made them for dinner. If I hadn't been on a diet, I would have added tons of shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream and salsa to my tacos.
But...
