What is wrong with giving workers the choice whether they want to pay union dues or not? Why should the taxpayers foot the bill for collecting union dues? Shouldn't that be the job of union leaders?

Usually when someone does something wrong or illegal they are sentenced to jail. Is that necessary all the time. Is there any situation that doesnt warrant a jail sentence? For me, I think that jail isnt always the answer....
