Why is it that I do not see those red lines that help one to correct the typos? Why is it that I see those typos only after I plan to comment on responses received? . I quickly get them corrected and yes I feel quite embarrassed...

My mom called me yesterday and told me that she ordered a Dyson vacuum for herself to be shipped to my house as she is away right now. She ended up making a typo and instead of 17 she wrote 18 for the house number. She didn't even...

Saw this post on my newsfeed with a picture of the price label on a shelf at Aldi.
It said:
Aldi finds Limited Time, Premium Buys
Easy Home
Toilet Seat
with Soft Cheese
$14.99 each
The picture was mostly of the label...

But this isn’t War and Peace, this is a product package.
I...

Hi! I try not to make typing errors. I read and reread and reread and still the errors get through. There are 3 reasons for this.
Number 1: I never learned how to type.
Number 2: Lately, some of the keys on my keyboard have...

Welcome to today's topic - Typos.
You might think typos are easy to spot especially if the word is misspelled. However, what about words that aren't misspelled and are still typos. Spellchecker won't catch those...

I'm a hunt-and-peck typist. I make lots of mistakes that are basic typos. Then I try to correct them. I get slightly miffed when I realize I've hit Caps Lock when I meant to hit A. Sometimes, because I'm watching the keyboard,...

I published my new book and ordered a copy. Read through the entire thing and found a typo. Seemed that was the only typo in the book, so I decided to just let it be and not fix and republish the book.
But then I ordered a copy...

I may try switching back to doing more mylotting on my desktop. The main problem with that is that my feet are on the floor. Right now I'm on three pillows on the footstool of a glider. Other times I'm on my bed with my feet on...

When I post my activity I check to see there are no typos or errors but after I click the submit button and get back to comment on what others have responded I see those typos and errors glaring at me. I correct them no doubt...

I suck at typing, even after all these years of writing. To be accurate, I have to watch my fingers, and even then, I wind up with an error or two in most sentences.
My keyboard is getting tired, and I spray it periodically with...

I must have been distracted. I typed "your" when I meant "you're" in a comment on another's post on MyLot this morning. I posted it, read it, and recoiled in horror. Visions of @Maluse descending on me flooded my mind.

I have sort of big fingers. I am big boned but not so big I look like an ape, I'm just one who would never in her lifetime be called tiny or petite.
I've been called good looking, pretty, beautiful, sweet, sassy, and all the...
