Is packaged food good for health

vickyhill @vickyhill (78) • India 21 Feb 09

When health is of concern, eating food grown under natural conditions is preferred. Unless you grow your own food like a farmer, there is no way to know whether the packaged food has been grown naturally or not as because even the...

DelicateFlower I try to avoid things with wrappers if I can. Your right that you can't really know what's inside, or what quality is inside. It's best to buy organic produce and meats if you can, and also to try to buy things grown in your area. The less they travel, the...

The Energy Of The Storm...

twoey68 @twoey68 (13627) • United States 20 Feb 09

There’s been times when a wild storm is brewing that I can feel the energy surging around me when I’m outside. Danger aside, I love to stand out in the storm and just feel the energy. It seems like everything comes alive out there...

DelicateFlower Yes I have felt the energy of a storm, but it was not pleasant at all for me. I do not get pleasure when there is an element of danger, I guess I am just too cautious, or a plain scardycat. When I was in Indiana for a month in the summer we had a lot of bad...

Have you ever read a book that REALLY scared you?

reinydawn @reinydawn (11642) • United States 11 Nov 08

I had started another discussion about books, and the charactes in them. One of the responses got me to thinking about how sometimes the book doesn't leave you once you close it up. I remember one book I read that REALLY scared...

I am looking for others who are truly in love withthe works of Poe. If are oneof my fellow Poe fanatics...inform me to what your favorite story or poem is. What is it about this piece that you enjoy?

DelicateFlower I like some of Poe's work, and dislike some of it, depends. I would say Mask of the Red Death is my favorite, probably because the symbolism is fairly understandable. In some of his other stories, they are so bizarre that I can't figure out what it is supposed...

Debt Spiralling Out Of Control Prenatal Depression

Samanthavv @Samanthavv (1380) • United States 10 Nov 08

Is christian rap really worth a 1000 preyers?

jyaegel @jyaegel (161) • United States 9 Nov 08

If a song is worth 1000 prayers are all genras of music the same? I grew up on old time gospel and blue grass and just recently started listening to modern contemparary and rap. Does it matter what kind of music it is as long as...

DelicateFlower That is a really hard question! In a way I would say what matters is what the words are, if they are truly reverent and honoring to God, and the motivation of the singer/group, which does come across in the music whether they realize it or not. I...
