The young couple in the next caravan just had an accident.
We could hear what they were doing
And then all of a sudden there was like a loud noise, wood snapping,...

I spent 45 dollars today. 30 of that was on eggs. But that is 10 dozen. I talked to the seller and he said they are unwashed and did have roosters with the hens. So I have 6 very dark brown eggs and 2 green eggs resting from being...

Anyone planning a vacation? Here it is July and the summer is nearly over. I used to always like to take my vacations in September. Places weren't so expensive and it was getting cooler.
My last big vacation was in the mid 90s...

Feast or famine. Today both cousins will be coming. I have tons of things for cousin #3 to do, including setting up my new medical alert system. She really should drive the Subaru as well. It's been too long.

Ugh, I mean the flood.
Yesterday, we went out without the rain. The typhoon gone but we have the southwest monsoon. I didn't expect, erase that. No one expected that at around 9 in the morning, it will rain heavily continuously...

We got the yard done. I did the weed whacking this morning as the grass was still damp. It finally dried off around 2 this...

After the rains the grass has grown. So I figure we will mow today. I will for sure at least even if hubby doesn't. I also need to use the weed whacker. I haven't done that for a couple of weeks now.
Depending on how I feel...

I might actually write a positive review. I had a broken Templar arm in my glasses, and didn't know where in ended up. I didn't buy the glasses there, but figured they were the best bet for getting the glasses fixed I went in...

Look at my death clock
I do not have very long to live.
( Roar of celebration in background from the pious few)
So my advice to people is never to make any long term plans
Because the death clock could chime for you at any...

I haven't had fresh apricots since I was a small girl. My grandmother had a tree right by the chicken coop. The chickens liked them and so did I. But, more recently we were given some and I am devouring them very quickly. They are...

Juliaacv My Gramma had an apricot tree on the side of her home when I was growing up too.
I did love them so much.
Half of her tree was dead, and the fruit only grew on the top branches, so I couldn't reach them on my own, and she quite often had to have someone pick...

The photo shows an item that is in the house where we stayed while visiting our son in Melbourne, Australia. It’s made from a single piece of wood and has no beginning or end.
It’s very clever but such things blow my mind in some...
