Lenore Plassman @BelleStarr Thanks very much. I will let the cat out of its figurative bag: our heat pump has picked this heat to quit delivering cold air. We are trying to get a guy out to see if he knows what is going on. So....do I go into the sun and paint or stay in...

Notlilie @MsTickle mine left rat tail in front of my dresser the other day. Surprised me a lot. It's a huge tail and I thought it's a snake.

Notlilie Get cats. Natural rat catcher. Might leave in front of your bed or on your bed as gift and compliment. Powered by cat food at least twice a day. On the serious note, traps would help as well. You just need to place bait in it.

Jabo Oh my, I couldn't stand sharing my home with rodents. A few years ago we had squirrels in our loft so I bought a trap, caught them one by one, then released them miles away. Don't know if that would work with rats.
