Max Crisp @LadyDuck Depends what you mean by “cake” flour? I’ve just checked with Tesco and for plain/all purpose flour, and self-raising flour, it’s 70p for 1.5kg. Cornflour is £2.50 for 500g. Much more expensive.

Oh the saga continues ….. Some may remember that Mom had trouble with the hot water ….a plumber came out and said it was the thermostat in the shower. We hadn’t had the shower that long but we took it back and got it replaced....

Max Crisp @DaddyEvil Most of our boilers are combination boilers, which don’t have storage tanks, so are rated on flow. I don’t think TJ said which type her mother had, but it almost certainly runs on gas.
