celticeagle Is it affecting your cooking? Looks to me like it is on the outside. If it is so hard to get off maybe it is because it isn't supposed to come off.

DE Have you tried using nail polish remover and a sturdy paper towel to rub the glue and paper off? You can also use rubbing alcohol to do it, too. I wouldn't use it until that paper and glue was removed. Google agrees that glue is flammable... Be careful if...

Kayla Tsukino Try a little wd40, that usually works pretty well. I wouldn't use the heat from the machine, because it could release fumes you don't want.

Arunima Singh Those things can be annoying. Maybe some tricks might be available online to remove this. If it's on pan, I put it on stove, the heat makes it easier to come out.
