What's wrong folks? Can't take the heat?

TheCasualReporter @TheCasualReporter (283) • France 23 Jan 09

Some of the arguments I've involved myself in I've dared to.. gasp.. propose another point of view. Even argue. I love debate. It's how we solve problems in a free society. Shame some people can't take a simple challenge to their...

Obama cannot succeed

TheCasualReporter @TheCasualReporter (283) • France 17 Jan 09

grammasnook I don't think the Obama supporters are expecting any miracles from him. What they are expecting from him is to have the economy grow a little bit and towards the right direction for success. If one person can make 10 people believe things are going to be okay...

bantilesroger I don't expect much from President Obama in the first 4 years. I look at him more as a symbol. As far as I am concerned, the first 4 years will be a period of getting to know you (him, the American people and the people of the world), of testing the...

Goose downs aircraft - why not a guard over the engine?

TheCasualReporter @TheCasualReporter (283) • France 15 Jan 09

There must be a rational reason why airplanes are not fitted with some kind of a grill to protect engines from ingesting birds and crashing airplanes. If wind drag is a problem, couldn't they retract once altitude is reached?...

xboxboy i understand your point. a jet travelling at 500 mph would slice any birds like a egg dicer. it would make no difference. it is not like a cow grill on a train as this rarely comes across herds of cows, where apon a jet would still suck in a flock of...

What is the strangest (or most exotic) thing you have eaten?

Just an Ordinary Owl? @owlwings (43872) • Cambridge, England 18 Jan 09

I think the most bizarre thing I've ever tried was chocolate coated ants. They were really no big deal ... some chocolate with a bit of crunch in the middle! Tonight, however, I am cooking kudu steaks. The Kudu is a large...

zandi458 @zandi458 (28101) • Malaysia 14 Jan 09

Jenaisle @Jenaisle (16459) • Philippines 13 Jan 09
